As RedState reported, a woman was sucker-punched and left incapacitated in Cincinnati in an incident that quickly went viral. What sparked the fight remains an unknown, and authorities haven't exactly been forthcoming with information. They have been forthcoming on other things, though, which we'll get to momentarily.
Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy spoke to the woman, revealing that she's a single mother named Holly and that she was attending a birthday party. He also accused Cincinnati PD of not having any presence in the area despite a major music festival going on nearby.
Some initially claimed this was a racially motivated attack, given that the victim was white and the assailants were black. We simply don't have any evidence of that at this point, and one extended video shows a white male (whose connection to Holly — if any — is unknown) throwing the first punch (or slap in this case). We'd need to know why the original argument started to get a gauge on what motivated the altercation.

No shock that she’s DEI. But why are these arrest records “sealed”? I’ve read/heard this from a couple sources. Troubling.
‘Her social media bio includes the phrase “advocate for inclusion,” ‘
I too an an “advocate for inclusion”. The deserving should be included in the prison population.
What "context" is she looking for? What is the "other side" of the story on the attack? I bet she has no idea what she means when she says this. She is just spouting words in the service of DEI without being able to answer the questions that she raises.
Her wife agrees with her.
Translation: “You should believe my version of events, instead of what you’re lying eyes are seeing.”
Yeah. A fat middle age bald guy really would go start a fight with a bunch of young black guys that look like foot ball linebackers.
Exactly
Many of these blue cities are already worse than the prisons.
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Oakland does not have a female police chief, and as far as I can recall, never has. The current chief is Floyd Mitchell. We have had a female fire chief.
“He also accused Cincinnati PD of not having any presence in the area despite a major music festival going on nearby.”
Music festival celebrating black culture is the way I heard it described. No police presence? Does not compute. Oh, a female police commisioner, you say? Then, it does compute.
It almost doesn’t matter if the white guy punched first. The mob is kicking and kicking and stomping a guy on the ground.
One is assault. The other is attempted murder. Round up the lot of them and start prosecuting.
Now.
The alleged slap by the white man is not what started the altercation. It was the result of an altercation already in progress. What/who started the argument that led to the slap?
An interesting side note to your comment is the firing of former Oakland (CA) police chief Anne Kirkpatrick, which was followed by her hiring as the chief in New Orleans.
Oakland CA?
Anne Kirkpatrick was the chief a while ago but was fired. She was later picked up by New Orleans. Guess there’s always a blue city available even for those deemed incompetent by previous firing.
To continue my thought: This incident occurred while some sort of black music event was going on. Did the guy who was slapped by the white man say something like, “Het, whitey, what you doin’ here? You don’t belong here!” Did he get in the white guy’s face?
S/b “Hey, whitey . . . “ #@!$#@@!&$!!
Shows only one side? That suggests that there are some situations where mob violence is acceptable.
“This incident occurred while some sort of black music event was going on.”
The annual event used to be called the “Cincinnati Black Music Festival” but was changed to Cincinnati Jazz Festival, then more recently to Cincinnati Music Festival- there was an induction into the “Black Walk of Fame” at the festival this year..... they tried to make it seem inclusive by changing the title of the festival, but it really isn’t.
