President Trump released a statement on Wednesday morning, labeling the Epstrin files the Democrats’ “new SCAM” and condemning his own supporters for talking about the Epstein case.
“My PAST supporters have bought into this “bullshit,” hook, line, and sinker,” Trump said. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”
“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” Trump added.

I have an alternative scenario: President from the Oval Office:
“I reviewed the Epstein matter from every angle and with all the available information. As Commander in Chief and as Chief of Law Enforcement, I have carefully weighed what is in the best interests of the nation and I can only conclude that making any further records public would just give the sick and twisted MSM and the Democrats some sensationalist headlines and talking points. Democrat street thugs would use the rhetoric as an excuse to riot and burn down cities. Courts would probably be choked with lawsuits and the Democrats would never stop braying about it like their Donkey mascot. The Democrats will only use it with all their other lies to tear the country apart. I have a responsibility to stop that. That is my decision. Thank you for your attention to this matter”
If I heard that from this President, I would be satisfied. Maybe throw in some details about how the thing is a hoax like all the other hoaxes.

You are right, he is not a Epstein client. But, like DJT, you are misreading the “audience”. Completely.
He promised to release the files, not a rumored list.
More importantly, Protecting our children is fundamental to MAGA. The EpsteinFiles indicate systemic attack on them. Bondi’s opaque bungling of the issue has created a PERCEPTION that DJT is protecting pedos. No political issue is more important than children. ALL unredacted files must be released or MAGA is doomed.
If he continues to stonewall on this issue he might as well do what the HilaryHag did and call us deplorables.
I listened to a recent and old interview with Trump about releasing files. About JFK, 9/11, etc. he clearly said he would release them. In both instances with the Epstein files he clearly said he’d release them but after verification. He believed the regimes preceding him had great opportunity to doctor them. If I can find the video, I’ll send it to you.
I say we give him a bit more time to get this put together. After all, he’s been a pretty straight shooter in the past. He’s tried to follow through on promises in the past. In this instance, he clearly did not promise to release those tapes. It always was with a caveat ... something akin to verification. And his logic is valid. The enemy really could run a preplanted time bomb that they’ve inserted in there somewhere.
Here’s my problem:
1) What if the “Hoax” and
2) What is it exactly that we bought “Hook Line and Sinker”?
How can I buy something when I don’t know what it is that I am buying. To me it looks and smells like a cover-up,
Apparently Trump must have seen the “files” and didn’t like what he saw, so he wants to sweep it under the rug.
