The HORROR! The absolute HORROR of Alligator Alcatraz!!! The detainees there are being assaulted by mosquitos THE SIZE OF ELEPHANTS! How do we know? Because a Cuban rapper detainee told us so via his cell phone from inside Alligator Alcatraz. On that same cell phone call he also informed the world that the detainees are suffering from freezing tents due to being tortured by air conditioning. Yes, rather than allowing the prisoners bask in the natural hot tropical humid temperatures, they are being forced to endure unnatural freezing air conditioning.
I must admit that I was skeptical of claims of a detainee who is obviously trying to garner public sympathy leading to his release from Alligator Alcatraz. However, his claim of mosquitos THE SIZE OF ELEPHANTS sold me on the veracity of his claims. That and the FREEZING TENTS.
I heard the mosquitoes in that area had four engines.
(Some say the state bird of Alaska is the mosquito.)

I’m glad I never lived in an area like that.
Sadly I’m one of those people for who there isn’t enough bug repellent it seems.
Actually it is standard procedure to keep jails and prisons COLD. I don’t know why, but it is also almost impossible to get a second blanket... I still think it would be better than sweltering swamp heat and humidity.

Alaska was horrid. The worst I rememver from Florida were the little ones that blew over from Haiti, in a big storm, or so they said.
I’ve seen salt grass mosquitos so thick on my arm that some of them were standing on top of other ones and bent down to try to feed. I can’t imagine what they did before Off!

I lived up there in AK for 20 years. The skeeters were big, but they never bothered me. They drove the animals crazy, though.
Most things have more than one purpose.
Much like religion. Act accordingly to these rules or be punished by incarceration in the religious equivalent of a mutant mosquito infested swamp forever.

My state, New Jersey holds that distinction.
Here in NJ the main drag is a transvestite and the average age is deceased.
We should do one of those parasite cleans on them.
The travesty here is not that there are mosquitoes, it’s that the inmates are allowed cellphones ! For the Drug Runners it’s business as usual they can stay in touch with their fellow gang members on the outside.
