Going on strike looks like a good way to finally kill the WNBA. Would anyone really care?

Cut off the NBA subsidy and lets see what the real numbers look like.
The WNBA players would probably have to pay to play.

Not I. And the NBA players would like to get the $60-75M annual subsidy back so they can receive their share.

It’s an off season strike of course with this league that doesn’t make much difference.

Would anyone really care? I care. I'd be glad to get rid of that money pit clogging up the airwaves. The sooner they go bust (pun), the better.

Nobody would really care, which is unfortunate. The general agreement should be contracts based on the share of the profits, with an eye on keeping the league in the black.
If the players aren’t happy with that, than they can risk their jobs and see if the league survives.

Great. No one is interested in that league anyway. Seriously. I see local media trying to hype it up. I see some online ESPN junkies pretending it is a thing. But it isn’t. No one gives a crap about the WNBA.
How DARE the WNBA not share their vast profits with the players . . . . . . . . . . .

The WNBA is a joke within a joke. I can’t imagine a worse way to spend my time. You would literally have to pay me to watch it. Now I would watch the NBA champions play the WNBA champions, provided they play with the men’s basketball and provide incentives for the men to play well. 422 - 8? LOL.

While on strike, ya’ think they might learn how to box out and aggressively go for a rebound? How about not letting in easy layups. Or cross court passes...

I wish Caitlin would go to Europe so that the WNBA could circle the drain.
