...it is not an advantage to give that information to the Washington Post Iran will need capable leadership at the end of the day and the Mossad may have reason to believe these folks are qualified. Getting this information to Iran's public may a means of inspiring Iranians to depose the religious leaders.
We used that device in Germany immediately after the war by using German military officers, many of whom had been Nazi party members, to serve as civilian leaders simply because they were the most capable of the available candidates.

I think this is better expressed as:
“I guess a hundred dead Christians are collateral damage in Israel’s quest for recovering the hostages that Gaza's elective government kidnapped, tortured, and raped, as well as to prevent the slaughter of Israelis by the Axis of Evil. After all, how many thousands of German, Italian, and Japanese citizens, some of whom where Christians, had to die in World War II because their governments (which they chose) were so evil.” - Nitzy hopefully will actually believe in the LORD God of Israel before the end.

I believe the quote being referenced was referring to the toppling of Assad by Israel and the carnage faced by the Syrian Christians as a result. I don’t think it had to do with Gaza.

Assad was toppled by his fellow Syrians.
Fair enough; I loved the Syrian Christians whom I knew, but then again, they loved Israel and the Jews (even though they could not express it in the Middle East). Unfortunately Assad was his father's son and brutally ruled over so many Syrians that they were intent on his demise. He committed genocide against his own people, but not his own tribe. He escaped to Russia and left his fellow Alawites to their fate, as did the Russians.
On the other hand, Israel intervened to save the Druze in Syria because the Druze who are Israeli citizens demanded and lobbied respectfully for it. It is unfortunate that the Syrian Christians did not find advocates from other Christians, but then look at Russia and Ukraine. Very, very sad.
Reference (Wikipedia):
The Christian population of Syria comprised 10% of the Syrian population before 2011.[24] Estimates of the number of Christians in Syria in 2022 range from less than 2% to around 2.5% of the total Syrian population.[17][25] Most Syrians are members of either the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch (700,000), or the Syriac Orthodox Church. The vast majority of Catholics belong to the Melkite Greek Catholic Church. Other Eastern Catholic churches include the Maronite Church, Syriac Catholic Church, Armenian Catholic Church, Chaldean Catholic Church; there is also a small number of Latin Church Catholics. The rest belong to the Eastern communions, which have existed in Syria since the earliest days of Christianity when all Christians were part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

...Only partially controlled by strongman President Bashar al-Assad, Syria has long been torn by destabilizing conflicts, egregious human rights abuses, and severe persecution of minority religions. Though conditions are dire for Christians and other religious groups in the south, where Assad wields most of his power, the situation is not better in the north, where Turkish-backed terrorists continue to fight for territory and perpetrate heinous acts of violence against Kurdish and Yazidi religious communities...

You mention the population decline of Christians in Syria from 2011 to 2022 but you fail to explain what was happening at the time. Of course it was the Syrian civil war being orchestrated by our government under Obama and Israel.

I see no evidence of that portrayal. The Alawite tribe was a minority in Syria, 10% or so, and exercised authoritarian control.
It would be far fetched to imagine the Israelis triggered the "Arab Spring" that gave the Moslem Brotherhood control of Egypt.
It seems to me the Obama election triggered natural uprisings for Islamic democracy that were exploited by Qatar and Turkey, and were opposed by Iran and Russia.

The totality of those facts leads me to believe that Israel intended and accomplished overthrowing Assad. The Assad regime made Syria an enemy of Israel and consequences followed. Whether the LORD God of Israel used Netanyahu, Bush, or any Arab armies with Turkish and Qatari support, misses the point. The people of Syria rose up against the regime and neither Russia nor Iran could save it. You might as well mourn the fall of the Assyrian, Babylonian or Egyptian rulers who made themselves enemies of Israel.
Jeremiah 30:16
“Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured;
and all thine adversaries, every one of them,
shall go into captivity;
and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil,
and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.”
Do not be an enemy of Israel, personally or nationally.
