This one is easy Freeper music fans
Lord was fantastic. Blackmore is talked about more, but he still doesn’t get the credit he deserves, IMO. That recent Rolling Stone magazine greatest guitarists list put him at #75. He’s top ten in my list.
I’m a Woman sung by Peggy Lee
“I can wash out 44 pairs of socks and have ‘em hangin out on the line
I can starch & iron 2 dozens shirts ‘fore you can count from 1 to 9
I can scoop up a great big dipper full of lard from the drippins can
Throw it in the skillet, go out & do my shopping, be back before it melts in the pan
‘Cause I’m a woman! W-O-M-A-N, I’ll say it again”
Honky Tonk GIRL, Loretta Lynn
You ain’t woman enough to take my man, Loretta Lynn

Have You Ever Loved A Woman - Derek and the Dominos
Build Me A Woman - The Doors
The organ was the band!!
They were great instrumentalists but what made their songs stand out from other rock bands was this idea that an electric organ could transform a rock band!
I was born in 1968. I think Boston used an organ...I don’t know if it was an in thing at one time.
But even if it was, NO ONE did it like Lord and man could he play!!
I saw them in the 80s..they were still pretty young and fun to watch.
I was the only one awake after the pre concert party...the others were passed out drunk :)
I didn’t spend concert money to ruin it over 12 beers! :)
have a good one!
That’s going back too LOL
