Exactly what a divorced 55 year old should have
Hypercars were on display last weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans....
Riiiight, where ya gonna use it, most of the people that by these are old men who. barely drive the speed limit, or morons who think they are Speed Racer and floor it, lose control and totally destroy it. Aside from some rural areas where can you use the speed they are capable of?
It doesn’t look remotely like a corvette. Stubby nose.
Some buyers will ask “Why ask why?”
Others will only ask “Why?”
We need this to take out those anti-ICE protestors.
First truly innovative change from GM for a long time.
Should have had a fuel-injected 500-cid big block instead.
Estimated under 9 seconds on the quarter mile.
I gotta admit that I clicked on the link just to see if it was a hybrid. Yep.
I rented a prius in Seattle a few years ago and was dumbfounded by it’s off the line acceleration. This should be a natural strength of a hybrid. I would think the fastest sports cars in the next few years will all be hybrids.
And they only need that extra “oomph” for when quick acceleration is needed. That doesn’t take much of a battery.
Hmm...(sound of calculator buttons clicking) - that’s nearly four minutes to the Beer Store. Still too long.
For any of the ladies thinking 🤔
about that perfect July 4th present
for me...I’ll take 2, thank you
very much.
I wanna pick the colors too, if that’s okay...
😄😃🤣🤪
From an engineering standpoint: wow!!
From a practical standpoint: I’ll keep my 2000 Civic.
My Triumph rocket 3 motorcycle would go 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. It’s not the speed it’s the acceleration that is so much fun, Although I did take it up to 130 mph once.
Geez! How many Gs?
Unlike a Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini or other hypercars, the Corvette is magnitudes cheaper. Doesn’t have the same wow factor as those brands but it is an impressive car in its own right. Its performance is competitive with all those brands except for the top-end capabilities of the Koenigsegg and Bugatti.
It’s not really a Corvette anymore. Mid-engine/EV is no vette.
How many Gs of force does that exert on the human body?
So a quarter-million-dollar hypercard can now finally compete with a grandmother on her way to the grocery store in her Tesla. Woo hoo.
