Should Israel decapitate the Iranian leadership and should the regime fall, the Trump administration must send in investigator to track down, detain, and interrogate those responsible for killing Americans and funding the insurgency.
Some should be extradited to the United States to serve the rest of their lives in prison; others can be offered the opportunity to turn state’s evidence.

Get the answers from them, then dress them in pig skins and shoot them and bury them, publicly, so the rest of the nuts can see the pig fat touching them before they die. Worked in the Phillipines over a century ago. When we stopped treating the mooslimes like that, they started up their troublemaking again.

I enjoy the spirit of the idea, but not the practice.
Nary a boot needs to hit the ground, except sappers and special forces to go in and plant bombs inside difficult-to-destroy facilities. And it looks like the Israelis have done this/are doing this.
While the revenge would be sweet and well-deserved, I don’t think it is wise to go on the ground to hunt down old men who don’t poise an immediate threat to the USA. Let them die, knowing they’ve destroyed their country.
Iran is part of Ezekiel 38. I’ll be surprised if they fall.
You have to admit they were right about Iran, though. It never made sense that so many were convinced that attacking Iran would cause a wider war in the Mideast and maybe even WWIII. Iran had no friends in the region, other than Syria and Iran’s surrogates in Hezbollah and Hamas (both of which have been neutered by Israel - in fact, Hezbollah just officially surrendered to Israel). On the contrary, Iran’s imagined “Muslim brothers” hated and feared them, and wanted to see the mullahs gone just as much as Israel did. Where this “wider war” was going to come from was always a mystery, given the obvious facts.
The actual path to a wider war, and possibly WWIII, was instead to keep standing idly by with their thumbs up their butts while Iran marched forward to a nuclear arsenal. THAT would most certainly have caused a massive and very dangerous war. The truth here was so obvious, and now that Israel has struck, we can see how deeply wrong the isolationists were.
I am firmly in the “screw Ukraine” and “stick to our own business” camp, but in this particular case the U.S. has a clear national interest in preventing Iran from going nuclear, and military action was the only path that would ever have been successful. Thank God Israel finally put their own self-preservation ahead of the protestations of the weak and timid.
So... you’re starting to get the impression that posters who use the term “neocon” and are repeatedly shown to be wrong are actually using false labels and narration? Like errr, Propaganda? Maybe they aren’t honest or credible?

I worked with Iranian engineers in Afghanistan in the mid-2000s. They were smart, competent, and personable.

Remember the relentless spring of 2008 rocket attacks on the Green Zone in Baghdad that took out a few of our troops. I was very close to the one that hit the gym at Phoenix Base and took two soldiers. Those were courtesy of the Iran-backed Muqtada al Sadr scum.

I was shot and had my back broken in Iraq and despise the neocons. But happily support action against Iran, which is our real enemy and a real and present danger to the USA.
Provided we don’t put boots on the ground, except maybe to spot targets and selectively blow stuff up and kill people.
