Douglas Horne, a former member of the Assassination Records Review Board staff, shared his opening statement about key questions surrounding the JFK Assassination.

He makes claims about the evidence at the same time he says the evidence was tampered with or is missing.
You can't have it both ways. You can't say the evidence is missing or altered and then draw conclusions from evidence you admit isn't there.
I've heard lots of different people make claims. It was the FBI. The CIA. The Secret Service. LBJ. The Mob. It's all bunk by con artists to make money.
You can believe any con artist you want but Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed Kennedy.
As an investigator, Horne's presentation is logical and based on reliable, properly established facts. He would be a persuasive witness in court.
Most significantly, Horne got the doctors at Parkland Hospital on the record in detailed testimony. Their accounts lead to conclusions at odds with the Warren Commission as to the number and placement of Kennedy's wounds. Notably, the conclusions of the autopsy at Bethesda were even contradicted by some of the witnesses to it.
Based on what we know now, Oswald would be hard to convict at trial due to crucial weaknesses in the case against him. Could Oswald still be found guilty of something? Maybe, but not as the lone assassin.
At trial, his attorneys could point out that the so-called "magic bullet" that was matched to Oswald's rifle was apparently placed on a stretcher at Parkland by an FBI agent after he found it on the trunk of the limousine behind where JFK sat. That bullet was apparently from an undercharged round that popped out of a shallow wound on Kennedy's upper back.
At most, Oswald could be found guilty of shooting at and wounding Kennedy, but not of shots from other directions that cannot be linked to Oswald's supposed firing position.
Sorry for the long delay in response.
There were no shots from any other direction. Every shot came from behind and above. This is why there is so much confusion. You believe stuff that isn't true and Horne will always be an opportunistic grifter.
SeeBS?
...really?
David Horne did not create that contradiction but he focused on it and collected new evidence. That does not make him a grifter.
Again, if Oswald had gotten to trial, his attorneys would set the Parkland doctors against the Warren Commission account and would have gotten Oswald off the hook as to a murder charge. Unless, of course, the government had charged Oswald as being part of a conspiracy.
