Douglas Horne, a former member of the Assassination Records Review Board staff, shared his opening statement about key questions surrounding the JFK Assassination.

The police interview people who commit crimes and they can tell you people do inexplicable things.
Just because you believe he should have hightailed it out of town doesn't mean that's what he was thinking at the time. That he didn't do what you expected him to do doesn't make him innocent.
Take the example of Christopher Lee Watts. He buried his wife and put his children in an oil tank. Is that rational? Is that how you would have disposed of the bodies? Why not just bury them together?
Sometimes people in stressful situations don't think and act rationally.
Coast to Coast AM David Mantik
He has two books on the subject which means he profits for his conclusion.

Mantik, Chesser, and Horne all seem to know each other. There is no impartial research.
Dr. Chesser's Metal Fragment Trail and the Quentin Schwinn Sketch as Evidence of JFK Forehead Wound
Douglas Horne worked on the Assassination Records Review Board and within that position was able to perform some investigations outside of the ARRB’s original mandate. One involved the Zapruder Film. We never saw the actual Zapruder film. What we saw on television was altered with some frames missing. Under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, that is NOT evidence. I’ve ignored it since 1984 when I first was schooled in the Rules of Evidence.
Horne talked to the first person to view the Zapruder Film, Homer McMahon of the National Photographic Interpretive Center. His job was to analyze both still photos and moving pictures. On the night of the assassination, he received the film from Zapruder’s movie camera. At the end of his analysis, Horne gave a Secret Service agent his impression from studying the film that JFK was hit “6 to 8 times from at least three directions.” The Secret Service agent disagreed and told McMahon to print stills from the film to make briefing boards concerning three shots from behind, which is what the conclusion the investigation reached at that time.
So, this is where Horne received information from an interviewee that suggested more than three shots and more than two hits on JFK. He didn’t make it up.
There are many problems with the Lone Assassin Theory which is the Official Narrative. I never try to “solve” the assassination by accusing individuals and/or institutions with operating a conspiracy to commit the crime since I am not in a position to prove such a thing, but there are serious problems with the Official Narrative. They are so significant they should not be ignored.
It was planted.
You are right. It would make him king of the morons.
Oswald couldn’t find a Starbucks to hang out in?
Even my then teen aged cousin knew that the Warren Commission was a fraud. By coincidence, he had bought a Mannlicher-Carcano rifle from the same mail order source at virtually the same time as Oswald. My cousin found the rifle to be inherently inaccurate and difficult to fire in a rapid and controller manner at even a relatively close stationary target. He ran through most of the ammo and then put the rifle away as useless for hunting or much of anything else.
The shot was very possible. It's been replicated. In Nov. 1963 there were no trees blocking the shot. As for Oswald only being a marksman. 1 out of 3 was a head shot killing Kennedy. That's the skill level of a marksman, 1 out of 3.
The problem is what you believe is wrong.
"A CBS News Inquiry: The Warren Report" (1967) Rifle Tests Preview (2 min video)
That was not a credible test because the MC rifle used was accurized and made stable in a way that Oswald’s was not, which had also supposedly been reassembled on the morning of the assassination without any test shots for adjustment. In addition, in Dealey Plaza, tree limbs obscured the target and limited the time for sighting and acquisition. Finally, forensic testing on Oswald’s cheek did not show gunpowder residue.
(1 out of 3 was a head shot killing Kennedy)
No, you’re wrong my Warren Commission believer friend. Kennedy was hit three times in the head. You suffer from confirmation bias.
Good heavens. You're the 2nd person to bring up lack of gunpowder residue on his cheek. He didn't fire the rifle with his cheek. He fired the weapon with his hands. He tested positive for gunpowder residue on his hand.
"That was not a credible test because the MC rifle used was accurized and made stable in a way that Oswald’s was not"
LOL. It was a highly accurate test performed multiple times. The shots were easy for anyone with basic rifle training.
"In addition, in Dealey Plaza, tree limbs obscured the target and limited the time for sighting and acquisition."
You need to stop getting your information from Oliver Stones movies.
Here is the line of sight. There was no tree limb blocking the shots. None. That was Oliver Stone's lie.
Do you even watch the videos you post? DH testified the Zupreder film and the x-rays were altered and others missing.
How do you draw conclusions from evidence you claim is false or missing?
In this video Doug Horne and his buddies use the altered x-rays to prove 3 head shots.
You can't use evidence you discredited to prove your case.

(2) The examples of the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle sold by mail order as surplus to the American market were of poor quality and notoriously inaccurate. The gunsmith who modified and prepared the rifles for sale said that Oswald was "very lucky" to have made the shots attributed to him. Some expert snipers have called the shots impossible. The FBI had to install shims to make Oswald's rifle capable of accurate fire by expert marksmen.
(3) Your street level photo of Dealey Plaza is not useful to the issue. During a recreation, the Warren Commission took photos through a rifle showing the view from the "sniper's nest" in the Texas School Book Depositary. The photos and testimony in the Commission report and volumes of hearings and exhibits show that tree limbs blocked the view of the limo and JFK long enough to have limited the time for Oswald to have sighted and fired.
(4) In addition to other faults, the CBS recreation did not account for this, which adds to the lack of validity of their recreation.
2) The video shows the shots were possible. Oswald got one kill-shot out of three.
3) Here are some new and old photos from the TSBD. There was no obstructed view in the kill box.

I have the facts and evidence on my side. The problem for you is you have opinions, speculation, and wacky, convoluted scenarios.
View from Book Depository Window. Dallas (Tex.). Police Department. 1963.
Assuming the potency of the reagents and valid administration and analysis of the tests, the most persuasive interpretation of these results is that Oswald did not fire a rifle and may not have fired his pistol to kill Officer Tippit. Alternatively, the chemical reagent used by the Dallas Police Department techs may have been misapplied or inadequate to the task.
In 1963, the so-called sniper perch in the corner of the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depositary offered a view of Elm Street that was partly obstructed by street side oak trees. This is clear in photos taken by the Warren Commission from that vantage point. For the first shot, that limited the time available for acquiring a proper view of the limo and aiming at JFK.
This factor was not properly accounted for in the various public tests conducted by the Warren Commission and others. These effectively added to the time for Oswald to shoot by giving the test shooters a continuous clear view of their target as if there were no trees.
It also bears mention that the emergency room physicians and other medical personnel described wounds to Kennedy's head and neck that are inconsistent with the official account based on the official autopsy of JFK in Bethesda. The notes and written report by FBI agents O'Neill and Seibert and testimony by attending technicians also vary significantly from the details of the autopsy. Recent analysis of the official X-rays indicates multiple shots from the front to Kennedy's head.
On balance, Doug Horne now offers the best informed and most persuasive account of the evidence. After all, he spent years gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, adding to the record generated by the Warren Commission, the House Assassinations Committee, and others. And who knows what awaits in the thousands of pages yet to be made public by the National Archives.
Doug Horne makes money by promoting his conspiracy theories.
He's a grifter, nothing more.
How much of Horne’s work have you read? He has dispelled some theories and attacks on the Warren Commission while pursuing others. As far as I can tell, he scrupulously relies on evidence and logic. Does he make money from his writing? Guilty. He is a published author.
