Pope’s think they are infallible. None of them are in or will see heaven. So I don’t think of them at all.

It doesn’t matter who the pope is. That structure of religion is NOT found in the Bible. It is all man-made.

I always thought the Freemasons were a strictly male organization. Am I wrong to think that, since they hold feminism in such a high regard?

I agree that women are ruled by their emotions more than men are, and that men are more likely to think logically. Some men, however, are persuaded to think with their emotions and become master manipulators.

It’s too early to tell how this new Pope will guide the Church.

I do agree, that truth comes from God, not the Church.

The Venerable Bishop Sheen came to our city many years ago, around 1960.My parents took me with them to listen to him speak. I was too young to remember anything he said, of course, but my ONE CLEAR MEMORY of that day was, as he was leaving, my Dad pushed through the crowd holding me, and as he passed by, the Bishop layer his hand upon my head. I have never forgotten that moment. I have watched some of his videos on YouTube- His voice today is sorely missed, and sorely needed.

Pretty strong statement that none are in or will see Heaven.

I cannot argue with a point of view that is beyond knowledge, and even idiots are free to make declarative statements that are beyond both belief and/or proof.

You have proven yourself to be beyond reason.

It’s actually the best religion and truest. One holy apostolic Catholic Church. I feel bad for the fakey other religions like those megachurches that need to bribe people to go with rock bands and Starbucks. And don’t get me started on the ridiculous born again wackadoodles.

Such little faith and reject the Words of Jesus and His Church.

Rejecting the Catholic Church can be seen as rejecting Jesus, as the Church is His mystical body on earth (1 Corinthians 12:27). The Catholic Church holds that it is the one true Church founded by Christ (Matthew 16:18-19), and through it, the fullness of the means of salvation is available (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 816).

Jesus warned that following Him might cause division, even within families (Matthew 10:34-36). While personal faith journeys can be complex, the Church invites all to explore its teachings and sacraments, which are believed to be instituted by Christ for our salvation.

The leadership is human and subject to their free will, so there are saints and sinners. We know them by their fruits.

After Francis, Pope Leo XIV has been a pleasant surprise. Once again, we have a Pope who is actually a Catholic, not a politician first and foremost.

May not agree with this Pope in every particular, but like the bishop on the chessboard, he moves in oblique direction, arriving at a given point only after several moves.

"...the ridiculous born again wackadoodles"

Then what did Jesus mean in John 3:3?

"Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

I stopped reading when the author asserted that Secular Feminism is “a powerful tool of Freemasonry.”

Idiotic to the core. This guy is just ranting nonsense. But even a blind hog finds a strawberry now and again. Women are indeed easily misled by emotional appeals. Hence their majority support for evil socialist proposals.

No Pope considers himself infallible on most matters.

Papal infallibility is purely on doctrinal matters when spoken from the authority of Peter. In practice this is used as a tie breaker and final earthly decision making after council has deliberated under the guidance of the Holy Spirit

The structure of religion is core to the Biblical books, all 73 of them, whether written before Christ or after.

In the old testament books we have clear structure in Deuteronomy. In the New testament we have a clear structure of priests, bishops, etc in the Epistles

I completely and with totality reject the catholic church. It, and its mode of operation, are NOT found in the Bible in the post-Judaic period.

None of that is found in faithful churches of Christ.

You are born again by the Sacrament of Baptism.

But the early Christians uniformly identified this verse with baptism. Water baptism is the way, they said, that we are born again and receive new life—a fact that is supported elsewhere in Scripture (Rom. 6:3–4; Col. 2:12–13; Titus 3:5). No Church Father referred to John 3:5 as anything other than water baptism.

“After Francis, Pope Leo XIV has been a pleasant surprise. Once again, we have a Pope who is actually a Catholic, not a politician first and foremost.”

If the above is correct the press must be hiding a lot of what Leo says. All I have heard from him is politics and worldly matters.

And don’t get me started on the ridiculous born again wackadoodles.

Like Jesus, right?

John 3:3-7 Jesus answered him,

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?” Jesus answered,

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Pope Leo XIV affirmed Friday that the family is founded on the “stable union between a man and a woman,” and that the unborn and elderly enjoy dignity as God’s creatures, articulating clear Catholic teaching on marriage and abortion at the start of his pontificate.
