A Florida woman was denied service at a Taco Bell because none of the workers spoke English. Apparently the Chalupa Supreme Combo doesn’t translate South-of-the-border.
Alexandria Montgomery posted a video of the entire incident as it unfolded in the drive-thru of the Taco Bell in Hialeah.
“Nobody here speaks English? Nobody in the back speaks English? So you can’t take my order,” Montgomery said.
At one point another staffer intervened, but that individual claimed not to speak English, too.
“She doesn’t want to help me because she don’t speak English. But you know the menu. You work here, so you would know what I’m talking about if I say I want number six on the menu. You understand what I’m saying? Like, you just don’t completely shut me out cuz you don’t speak English, that’s not fair,” Montgomery said.
Montgomery said Taco Bell later reached out to apologize and offer her a gift card. But perhaps they should be enrolling their staff in an ESL class?
“I understand everyone in Miami doesn’t speak English, and that’s fine, but if she was willing to work with me, I think the outcome would’ve been different,” Montgomery told NBC 6.
In a statement, Taco Bell said that the incident “does not meet our customer experience expectations.”
“We have worked quickly to resolve with the customer to ensure this doesn’t happen again,” Taco Bell wrote to NBC 6.
It seems to me that anyone who moves to America and refuses to learn our language should be deported. Without a common language we can’t have a sovereign nation nor can we order the delicious Cheesy Gordita Crunch.

RE: #6. My immediate thought also...
Irony is, in a lot of Europe, in the non-English speaking countries, you pretty much have to know English to get a decent job.
English more and more is becoming the Universal Language. This is actually the only country that pretty much discourages people from learning English.

I think that’s part of the Democrat “screw America” mindset. I’m hoping Trump gets around to addressing that. But he’s busy at the moment.
And then I saw her pic in the article. Suspicions confirmed.
Wow cool 😎
I’m starting to see television commercials in Orlando that are in Spanish but not on Spanish TV channels.
I will say that as far back as the first grade we were being taught Spanish. This was mid 1960s. The teachers frequently told us all through grade school that we needed to learn Spanish because eventually Florida would be a Spanish speaking state. How did teachers know this in 1964?
I took 2 years of Spanish in high school and I still don’t even have a rudimentary understanding of that language. Don’t care to.
If only I had the laptop 💻 fired up to post the pictures...
RFK Jr. would have approved of the original Taco Bell’s food quality. It was much better in the 1960s and 1970s, when Taco Bell was unheard of outside of the southern CA area.
The left doesn’t want newcomers to learn English. It promotes the idea of giving newcomers services in THEIR LANGUAGE, not English, so as to separate people into warring groups and eventually to replace the English speakers/”Whites”.
It’s just the opposite in Europe, where refugees usually do know English but not the native language, so it forces those countries to provide more services in English to accomodate the refugees.
That makes both of them.
My family had a grocery store about a block on Firestone Blvd., so my siblings and cousins frequented Taco Bell, complete with concrete tables, plastic pennants, and lava fire pit. Glenn Bell often took our orders because this was the only Taco Bell at the time.
The original Taco Bell still stands as a gift shop in Irvine, CA.
They don’t speak Ghetto-bonics and she doesn’t speak Barrio................
taco bell is resolving the situation by paying for Spanish lessons for said customer.
(concrete tables)
I remember those in the 1970s
If she has a phone she can translate.
Suspicions of what exactly? Are you suspicious of the TB workers being in the country illegally? Or because it’s a black lady you’ve determined without saying why, that she is the problem? Come on. Spit it out. What do you base your decision on?
Is it possible the woman lives nearby and would like to get something to eat and is tired of the immigration invasion too?
“Por Favor, Taco, Burrito and Soda.” It isn’t very hard to do. I’ve done that in Spanish speaking countries because I can’t speak or understand it. YMMV. IMHO.
Numero dos, por favor....................
