Some students get suspended for fighting, others for wanting the American flag in the classroom.
The latter, WBFF-TV reported Wednesday, happened to high school senior and aspiring U.S. Marine Parker Jensen, a student at Townson High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jensen noticed classrooms at his high school did not display the American flag. According to WBFF, the Baltimore County school board policy and the Maryland Education Code both require the flag to be present in every room.
When Jensen went to the Board of Education to ask about the lack of flags at school, he did not get answers. Instead, school district officials called the police — and three police cars responded.

The problem is that school boards are not sufficiently afraid of the outraged parents.
I believe that story. It is not trespassing it’s a public civic meeting. And to be charged with trespassing from a place open to the public (like a restaurant or store) generally the standard is you have to be told by staff to leave the premises. You’re only trespassing if you refuse to leave.
But the hubris of government workers knows no bounds.
“Just got his college paid for.”
Better yet, spend it on something worthwhile. The colleges are worse than the high schools.
They kept electing Bidet* for 50 some years.
More than enough for an indictment.
bttt
“They kept electing Bidet* for 50 some years.”
That was Delaware.
Baltimore is a dump.
I hope so, what a bunch of lefty wackos
Sue the school admins, the board members, and the cops personally. The only way this will stop is if these petty tyrants are held personally responsible.
being proactive instead of being passive not unlike most parents
Then they should NOT BE PAYING ANY SKRULL TAXES !!! See what happens then…
Just another inane action due to DemOncrats still in control of many of the US school systems.
“It is not trespassing it’s a public civic meeting.”
It wasn’t a meeting.
He went to their office building which was equipped with a buzzer/intercom for entry.
He identified as a student with his student ID but was not let in.
Their ivory castle since it seems.
Baltimore is where Francis Scott Key wrote "The Star Spangled Banner"--a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Ok fair enough. But it’s still a public administration building and he went there to redress a grievance. They would have brushed him off anyway but at least they could have allowed him entry to either speak his mind or make an appointment or something. Maybe he interrupted the rehearsal of their new TikTok dance.
Problem is training, for the Board and the Police.
It’s a public meeting, the people have the right to speak as part of the 1A....redress their government.
The claim of ‘trespassing’ is something the police should understand, their first question should be “what crime did they commit?”. They have as much a duty to uphold the Constitution as they do to remove people engaging in disorderly conduct, which speaking your mind, during your time, is not.
The Police should educate the Board members that unless a crime has been committed, it’s a public building, a public meeting, and the public have rights - they can’t just be ‘trespassed’ because the Board doesn’t like what they’re saying during their time. The 1A stands supreme.
The Police lack this training, the have more like the Gestapo in Nazi Germany, a nod from the ‘authorities’ and you’re dragged off like a criminal. This is the USA....they need reminding.
“Trump has convinced several silk-stocking, national law firms to donate hundreds of million dollars in lawyer fees”
If he believes these law firms are going to donate the brightest and best staff he is an idiot.
If he believes these law firms aren’t going to sabotage his efforts and policies he is an idiot.
The key word here: “PERSONALLY”. With that possibility looming, it might cool their jets.
They are organized and the police are at their beck and call.
And if the parents should organize themselves and push back they have plenty of people who are natural born lickspitles and toad-eaters who will show up to defend anyone with political power or lots of money.
A lawsuit is not enough. Those responsible should at a minimum be fired as well as investigated for criminal charges of denying civil rights under the color of the law.
