Woke New York Attorney General Letitia James made a social media post in which she pathetically tried to criticize President Donald Trump for making changes to Social Security, which she claimed would harm vulnerable seniors. However, the comments on her post were filled with principled conservatives taking her to task for her political bias and poor arguments.
For context, Letitia James has pursued legal actions against the president, such as a civil fraud case to financially ruin him. After the 2024 election, James congratulated President Trump on his win but warned that her office was “prepared to fight back” against his America First agenda.
Such was shown when James took to X on March 24, 2025, to attack Donald Trump shamelessly. She said, “Reminder: The Trump administration is attacking social security services and the benefits vulnerable Americans need. It’s shameful, and it’s going to harm millions of people across our nation.”
In this post’s comments, conservatives fired back by mocking James for her alleged corruption and warned that she soon may be facing legal troubles. One of the comments read, “Reminder: Big Tish lost her security clearance and is a known liar, soon to be perp walked.” Another one of the replies read. “No, it’s not. Cutting out the fraud and corruption will leave Social Security more solvent for the Americans who paid into it. It will be there for many more years. Stop the fear-mongering lies.”
Starting off the most recent chapter of her feud with Trump, on February 14, 2025, Letitia James went on an unhinged rant against Elon Musk and the president. She began, “As attorneys general, we refuse to bow to the president or Elon Musk. Right now, Elon Musk operates without any accountability, and the administration is attempting to impose an ideological litmus test. They’ve paused critical funds, including Social Security, veterans’ payments, and allocations to New York and states nationwide.”
Building on that point, James repeated tired talking points. She said, “This is unacceptable, unconstitutional, and an overreach of their authority. Attorneys general representing our states must stand up to enforce the rule of law. Neither the president, individuals at the Treasury, nor Elon Musk are above the law.”
Continuing her tirade, the woke AG described her plans to disrupt Trump’s executive authority. James continued, “We’ve been preparing for this, though cooperation was our initial goal. However, when the administration challenged the 14th Amendment’s birthright citizenship, we acted and secured a temporary restraining order (TRO).”
In the same rant, James stated that this will not be the only time she attacked Trump. The AG said, “Similarly, when they targeted the NIH and researchers working on cures for cancer and cardiac disease, we obtained a TRO to protect funding. When funding for agencies like Meals on Wheels, veteran services, and law enforcement grants was paused, we again secured a TRO, and we’re not done.”
Concluding her diatribe, Letita James promised to attack Elon Musk, too. She said, “We will continue marching into court to uphold the law and Constitution, ensuring the President, Elon Musk, and his allies understand they cannot unilaterally restructure our government. Congress, as a coequal branch, must consent, and we are confident in securing a preliminary injunction.”
