The world found out shortly before 2 p.m. eastern time on March 15 that the United States was bombing Houthi targets across Yemen.
I, however, knew two hours before the first bombs exploded that the attack might be coming. The reason I knew this is that Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense, had texted me the war plan at 11:44 a.m. The plan included precise information about weapons packages, targets, and timing.
This is going to require some explaining.
The story technically begins shortly after the Hamas invasion of southern Israel, in October 2023. The Houthis—an Iran-backed terrorist organization whose motto is “God is great, death to America, death to Israel, curse on the Jews, victory to Islam”—soon launched attacks on Israel and on international shipping, creating havoc for global trade. Throughout 2024, the Biden administration was ineffective in countering these Houthi attacks; the incoming Trump administration promised a tougher response.
This is where Pete Hegseth and I come in.
On Tuesday, March 11, I received a connection request on Signal from a user identified as Michael Waltz. Signal is an open-source encrypted messaging service popular with journalists and others who seek more privacy than other text-messaging services are capable of delivering. I assumed that the Michael Waltz in question was President Donald Trump’s national security adviser. I did not assume, however, that the request was from the actual Michael Waltz. I have met him in the past, and though I didn’t find it particularly strange that he might be reaching out to me, I did think it somewhat unusual, given the Trump administration’s contentious relationship with journalists—and Trump’s periodic fixation on me specifically.

No they didn’t. Pete Hegseth already took down this clown for reporting this.
B.S.
Next drama? 🤡
Trump 🇺🇸
He didn’t text the war plans, and this has, per reports from the left and the right, now metastasized to the following:
1/2 This has reached critical mass in reporting, there’s going to be back-and-forth on this for some time, I believe Hegseth and the Trump administration have down well so far on a host of issues, but ultimately it will probably come down to the veracity (or lack thereof) concerning what multiple news outlets (from both the political left and right) are reporting, namely what is claimed to have been said between J.D. Vance, Hegseth, and others:
What Team Trump’s group chat error really revealed
3/24/25
https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/what-team-trumps-group-chat-error-really-revealed/
“... J.D. Vance raises his concern that unilateral action on the Iran-backed rebels, while sending ‘a message’, carries a real risk of undermining the new administration’s America First platform. ‘3 percent of US trade runs through the Suez,’ says Vance. ‘40 percent of European trade does.’
Vance goes on:
“VP: I understand your concerns-and fully support you raising w/POTUS. Important considerations, most of which are tough to know how they play out (economy, Ukraine peace, Gaza, etc). I think messaging is going to be tough no matter what-nobody knows who the Houthis are-which is why we would need to stay focused on: 1) Biden failed & 2) Iran-funded.”
So parts of the left and the right will undoubtedly paint the administration as not being 100% America First, that they want to try and be world cop, want to procure money from doing this for the Red Sea/Suez Canal even though the US has hardly any trade going through it, that they have sold out to Israel, and want to make going after Iran and blaming Biden top priorities.
BREAKING: Pete Hegseth answered a question about the Signal Chats: “So you’re talking about a deceitful and highly discredited, so-called journalist who’s made a profession of peddling hoaxes...” (Video at URL)

How did he take him dowm?
It was a test Jeffy. They were checking if you could keep you big DemonRAT mouth shut when it came to American National Security. Now they know. You can’t. You work for the bad guys.
Absolutely no discretion, has he?

Goldberg suspected as much. That;’s why he said this in his article:
“It immediately crossed my mind that someone could be masquerading as Waltz in order to somehow entrap me. It is not at all uncommon these days for nefarious actors to try to induce journalists to share information that could be used against them.”
Accidentally?
I love this.
So cute.
He exposed him as a phoney discredited "journalist" who spins lies and should never be trusted. Goldberg fell right into their trap.
Subpoena his @$$.
Should be very easy to prove.
This make no sense.
There is no way that this liberal hack was mistakenly added to the e-mail stream. I think someone who wanted to hurt the Def-Sec added the hack to the stream.
I think we will know what happened in the next couple of days but it wasn’t a simple mistake.
Deep State Drama IMHO
RE: Accidentally?
As opposed to... DELIBERATELY?
If so, to what end?
Get Pam Bondi on it.
Text reveals we are again bitches to the world. Having to secure areas and providing security to the Middle East.
We are still lapdogs to ksa and others countries. .
in other words
its monday.
Trump is an expert on exposing corruption, and people who don’t belong where they’ve gotten.
This is another exposé.
This was a test.
The dude failed.
