Apart from Chuck the Shumck caving, I do not see it as a win. Shut the government down—but it really never shuts down as 85% remains operative,what Rush Limbaugh called the “essential services.” If it can run on only “essential services,” what is the rest of the government doing? Answer: collecting an unnecessary paychecks at the expense of non-goverment people, i.e. the rest of us.
