How Trump thwarted Democrats

Democrats thought Trump’s second presidency would be a repeat of his first. They cornered him last time by triangulating lawsuits, the bureaucrats and RINOs to stymie a president they believed unworthy of the title.

Republicans in the Senate saddled the newbie with a Cabinet of Termites. He trusted them. Bigly yuge mistake.

Ha ha ha. 8 years later, the establishment has not changed its playbook. Football may be a game of inches, but politics is a game of adjustments. Trump adjusted.

First, he assembled a Cabinet of anti-Federalists. Many people overlook the fact that many Founding Fathers opposed the Constitution over fears of a central government that would overpower the states. Patrick Henry admonished the constitutional convention for not doing its job of simply fixing the Articles of Confederation but replacing it.

Henry said, “What right had they to say, We, the people? My political curiosity, exclusive of my anxious solicitude for the public welfare, leads me to ask, Who authorized them to speak the language of, We, the people, instead of, We, the states? States are the characteristics and the soul of a confederation. If the states be not the agents of this compact, it must be one great, consolidated, national government, of the people of all the states.”

He praised the conventioneers as the loyal Americans and patriotic comrades in arms, but he firmly stated, “The people gave them no power to use their name.”

237 years later, Henry not only was right but he was proven so roughly a century ago. Only now are we getting around to dismantling the behemoth FDR created and LBJ expanded.

It will turn out that xidens election was the worst thing that could have happened to the Deep State.

If Trump had been elected in 2020, all the mechanisms were in place to stop him or at least throw road blocks.

4 years to plan, for the American public to see the light, and all the while the dims over reached, got complacent and lazy.

Best side effect was the demise of the legacy media.

As Rogan said, you had a Rogan on the left, it was me😂

“...dismantling the behemoth FDR created and LBJ expanded.”

Do not forget the behemoth that Hussein and the GOPe created together, called ‘Obamacare.’ A monopoly created by government feds that has made America weaker again. A reminder is in order that the GOPe at the time did NOTHING in the first two years in President Trump’s first admin.

People are so sure Trump was dumb about this. And about the 2020 both of which turned into his favor

I certainly believe that Trump did his share of "thwarting", however I also believe the Demos thwarted themselves. I believe their "ground troops", the folks who actually did the ballot box stuffing, lost their motivation somewhere between the gas pump and the grocery checkout line.

After all, NancyP can only stuff so many boxes.

I also think Biden had a hand in this. The 2020 steal wasn't Democrat engineered, it was Biden engineered (otherwise there'd have been more down ticket Dems winning.) And when he tapped Kamala to take his place, he didn't offer the keys to his network to go with it. That was his revenge on the DNC for not supporting him.

O’Care? Peeps around here forget the (R)N(C) genesis of: The Patriot Act, Dept. of Homeland Security, NSA (even w/ learning of its illegal sucking up of EVERY/ALL Citizen communications), TSA, NCLB, Common Core...

Sh!t, you got everyone in Congress/base parroting “Pres. Trump isn’t dismantling SS/MediXYZ”, though those are the greatest, extra-Constitutional Ponzi schemes in History; giving a $210T+ sea of red ink ala ‘unfunded liabilities’ *facepalm*

Perhaps what is unnerving the Democrats most is the speed at which Trump is dismantling the Washington bureaucracy. The Democrats after having a senile figurehead as president for the last four years and when dementia Joe was glaringly unable to credibility run for a second term put in Cackling Kamala as their candidate thus getting shellaced in the election. They are now a leaderless party with no direction being torn between the old guard and the leftist radicals. Trump has masterfully exploited this power vacuum and has gone full speed ahead with his draining the swamp. The Democrats also never counted on Trump rising from the legal shackles they had so carefully crafted to derail his campaign and now he is retaliating with a vengeance on his persecutors. All of this has occurred with dizzying speed with Trump barely into his third month as President.

Trump also brilliantly tapped Elon Musk and his whiz kids to go through the mountains of data in record time. Musk’s group has uncovered more fraud and waste in federal spending in weeks than could ever have been uncovered by endless Congressional investigations and hearings. I expect that many indictments will soon be coming from the DOJ including politicians and even members of Congress who benefited from this fraud and corruption.

Reagan brought us dawn in America. Trump is giving us high noon with all the shadows gone.

I think Trump was naive about how vast the swamp was. Look at many of his cabinet members, son, fbi, SS… all stabbed him in the back

I think the 4 years was definitely good for him, bad for us. I pray he will make the most of it

His cabinet seems to be a winner at least for now

It might look like he was naive. I don’t think he was at all. Look at the outcome. You think he could not have planned something that spread out over many years but that’s just an opinion as well.
What do you mean, his son stabbed him in the back

Once the RIFs (reductions in force) kick in even people around here will be stunned.

The plans are due this month.

The implementation will be well underway this summer.

The massive cuts in the bureaucracy, agency after agency after agency are gonna blow people’s minds.

Sorry auto correct not sure how DOJ, becomes son. Need to proof read as there is certain someone who is not as cordial about my mistakes.

I do think he was naive about how dirty DC was/is, and I genuinely think he thought people cared as much about the country as he did, so he listened to people who did not have his best and the countries best interests in mind.

Sessions and Barr are two great examples

Judging by the reaction to his cleaning house, the swamp is bigger than I ever imagined

I don’t. I think it is all the people I speak with who say why didn’t he do anything in his first term that are naive about the scope of

And definitely not him. Besides he has all the top top secret info Way over and above anyone else

Try this. Go to your DVR version of the address to congress. Look at after he is done and steps off the stage to meet and greet. Who does he see first. What do you see in that exchange.

Indeed

Only now are we getting around to dismantling the behemoth FDR created and LBJ expanded.

If your not part of the solution your part of the problem.

Let Trump be the leader of the solution.

Virginia appointed Henry as a delegate to the 1787 Federal Convention.

He didn’t attend.
