Every time there is a government blip, the MSM runs to the park service first. Supposedly park service employees make sympathetic victims. Personally I find them to be insufferable with an over weening sense of sanctimony. If the truth were told the park service would like to see us despoilers of nature dead. Any time you visit Yellowstone, you have to be vigilant about the wildlife. I've seen grizzlies and wolves many times. Always lots of bison and elk. Any of them can get you and there won't be a ranger nearby to "save" you. It's just a bunch of fear mongering government employees whining about job cuts.
