Now, we learn Biden has extended one final middle finger to the victims of J6 by pardoning all of the Capitol police officers who testified regarding the J6 protests. This means a full pardon to incompetent US Capitol Police Lieutenant Michael Byrd, who killed Air Force veteran and American war hero Ashli Babbitt.
Biden, though, sees nothing wrong with pardoning a man many feel is guilty of cold-blooded murder.
“Even when individuals have done nothing wrong-and in fact have done the right thing-and will ultimately be exonerated, the mere fact of being investigated or prosecuted can irreparably damage reputations and finances,” Biden wrote.

He cannot pardon the man’s conscience. Biden only confirmed what he and everyone really knew already.
But doesn't this mean that no one pardoned can hide behind the 5th Amendment and can be forced to testify about what happened?
So you admit that you knew that your investigations into every Trump associate was going to ruin them. Noted.
Can they still be investigated, charged, and have to stand trial? How does a pardon prevent that? If they can get away with this then Trump’s team can do anything they want, even if it’s illegal, as long as Trump will pardon them, right?
This is one of the most infuriating ones - Michael Byrd should have been tried for murder - and if the races were reversed, you can be sure he would be sitting in a federal prison with and LWOP conviction.
There is no limit on the Presidential Pardon Power. That's why the lawsuits are going to be plentiful in the aftermath of Biden's Pardon Party. Some may reach SCOTUS, and then some limits may be defined.

Courts generally don't like wasting time on hypothetical cases. If the accused cannot be punished, then there is usually no point in wasting the court's time and the taxpayers' money.
He did nothing more to Babbit than what many Freepers were calling for law enforcement to do to George Floyd rioters.
the pardon is for the committee,etc. for the investigation of the Jan 6 “attack on....” But there was no attack, so this is a pardon of nothing.
Well, he still has to face the ultimate judge.
