This is one community where the 'true pandemic' is endemic.
No sympathy.
For many of these poor, traumatized people, whenever they smell a fire in the future, even a campfire, it is going to bring this right back for them.
I have great sympathy for James Woods and his family.
He was an actor, but he is a great man. And He lost everything in the fire.
No one knows what comes next for L.A.LOS ANGELES>
I know. It will become a tent city run by the now homeless and Mexican Drug Cartels.
All of Hollywood will move to Austin, Texas, and Fort Lauderdale.
IN short California has destroyed itself by continuously electing virtue signaling,irresponsible leftist a$$hats at the municiple, county, state and federal levels.
And if you are a believer in Divine Providence....the next hit will be The Big One earthquake.....sliding the whole of Gavin Newscums Sodom and Gomorrah into the sea.
Message to the Righteous. GET OUT OF CALIFORNIA WHILE YOU CAN.
I hate to say it but when this stuff happens, I always think of the smug and arrogant creeps who act like the rest of the US is a bunch of backward, knuckle scraping hayseeds who aren’t worth a second thought.
At the moment Julia Roberts and Dumba^% Cloony are at the top of that list. It changes from time to time, but there is never a lack of smart a*& former car parking attendants, former waitresses, etc. who think they can tell all of US how to vote! (No offense to waitresses, I used to do it and it’s hard work 😗 )
It’s the smell and taste of death. You never get past it.

I was thinking that myself last night while watching the devastation on TV.
Of course you know what comes next:
Torrential rains, floods and mud/landslides because the hills are now barren.
Whatever is left standing will be washed away in a day............

California is going to want federal money.
That money should come with tremendous string attached. I’d like to see election reform in California mandated. I know there are huge numbers of Liberals in California. But are the elections honest? Do more than 50% of the voters really want stupid Leftist politicians? Let’s have guaranteed honest elections and find out.
OR/WA are in competition with CA in hoping for ‘the big one’.
The 1904 earthquake was unprecedented in both its modern scale/devastation and the level of corruption which laid the foundation for today.
The leaders of these 3 states see the looming disaster as a windfall and they could care less about the ‘people’.
Watch what happens when CA is ‘gifted’ a horde of cash sometime in the next 11 days...
This is, of course, a result of the new ‘crisis’ of wildfire, a corollary to the ‘wildfire industrial complex’.
But I do find it decidedly ironic as to the victims of this unfolding, predictable disaster.
Strings to federal aid:
—The train to nowhere stops—dead in its tracks—gone.
—100 desalination plants up and down the coast—fast-tracked over-riding all state environmental regulatory bodies and regulations
—Full co-operation with deportation of illegal aliens
—All votes must be counted within six hours of poll closing time of election day—or the votes don’t count.
—End to all discrimination against whites, males, straights etc in all CA public institutions or institutions receiving state funds.
