CNN‘s data analyst Harry Enten said President Donald Trump‘s massive gains with certain groups in the 2024 election were much worse than a knockout blow for Democrats.
While Democrats suffered meltdowns following their historic loss, Enten said they haven’t fully grasped how bad it was for them.
Enten broke down the numbers, showing how significant Trump’s victory was.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are stealing the house and other senate candidates as we speak. And no one is doing anything about it. Arizona is blatantly embarrassingly disgustingly fraudulent.
I liken it to Ronald Reagan's win in 1980. He then, went on to lead one of the best decades in our history. It certainly was in my lifetime!
BUT....this ain't no landslide. Don't forget Trump won with 50.5% of the popular vote.
Call it what you wish.....BUT don't call it a landslide and don't forget that other 50% ain't going to roll over and play dead! No. They sure won't.
Let's hope and pray Trump can be as successful in changing our direction as Reagan!

I don’t know if the following has been discussed on FR or not. In my own locale, I hear suggestions here and there that the parties should be abolished altogether, and people simply be elected on their merits.
On paper, that theory seems to have merit. What about in practice? Any thoughts?

There were similar predictions after the 2016 elections, only to see a mere two years later the disaster that was the 2018 elections, followed by articles of impeachment and COVID.
