Four years ago, I posted this:

With the following info:
Thought I'd report what I've observed in Manhattan today.
Early voting started and at one particular location, on the Upper East Side, the line to vote has encircled the entire building from around 10 a.m. until now - so, two street and two avenue blocks, entirely. Yes, there is "social distancing" but this is unbelievable (someone said it takes about 5 hours to vote). On the assumption that the voting pattern for the neighborhood holds, one has to wonder what is motivating these people, their candidate (really??) or pure hatred of POTUS? In any event, I did not expect this.
This year, early voting began on Saturday, 10/26; compared to the report above, the line was (and continues to be) non-existent . It'd seem that there is absolutely no enthusiasm to go out there and vote for the D ticket; none. If this holds across the country, they are (and I sincerely hope) doomed.
Thanks for your report of now and then
Maybe with all the fraud voters assume someone will just vote on their behalf.
I voted in my area of DFW Texas yesterday. There was a canopy outside with a few Trump supporters in it and absolutely nothing outside for Que Mala. I added my one more vote for President Trump.
Thought it was funny that the 2nd page of the ballot (the backside) had a series of Republican candidates running unopposed, only one contest had a demtard in the contest. Says much about where I live, we nominate and elect a lot of Republicans.
Excellent post.
The Biden coup and Politboro nomination of Harris was about as undemocratic as you can get.
Outside of the mass media bubble there are many Democrats who are disgusted with their party and their nominee.
While the Democratic propaganda screams “Trump is Hitler” Democratic Party leaders acted like Hitler ignoring their own primary voters and seizing power in the party.
The only way Democratic voters can protest at this point (because voting Republican is a bridge too far for them) is just to boycott the election.
That is going to be way below the radar because nobody is going to brag about not voting—the social pressure to vote is too great.
When I lived in Manhattan years ago, I remember voting, and they asked me to “sign.” In front of them was a paper with my signature on it. Anyone who could copy what they saw upside down could have voted in my place. Yet in India, a dirt poor nation with 1 billion people, they have used photo voter ID for nearly 20 years. Pathetic.
Right.
This is how Trump will win this time.
In 2016 they corrupt media tried to bill Trump as a racist misogynist. It didn’t work well enough because they didn’t have enough time to infiltrate the message and ware down people’s cynical resistance to narrative building.
But they went into full propaganda mode for 4 years and crystalized the division of the country based on hate for the orange boogeyman, and it worked (along with a little help from mules in a few key cities).
Now, it has been 4 more years, and the hate has been given time to extinguish. It’s not truly gone for the hardcore democrats. They would idols at their pagan shrines to bring down Trump, but the rest of the country noticed something interesting. The 4 years under the orange boogeyman weren’t so bad, and the 4 years that followed weren’t so good.
The educated suburban women are still lost. They think that the perceived war for the uterus is the only issue. However, everyone else, both in cities and in suburbia, now question the messaging.
Voted in Fairbanks yesterday. We had to wait an hour to get to the booth. I couldn’t believe it.
What’s it mean? Who knows?
The mass media also shot itself in the foot by propping up senile Biden for years.
When they turned on the dime many folks did notice.
“Were you lying then or are you lying now?”
Lol.
One time he showed up with too much spray tan and he is forever Orangeman. (Autocorrect even capitalized it for me) One commenter says his hands look tiny and the left can’t stop talking about it. They continue to declare it synonymous with the size of another body part with which they seem to have endless fascination. Then they giggle about it. Sounds like maybe fifth graders at best. They seem to have a one tract mind. How can people make a rational decision about something as important as who leads the country when all they can thing about is their genitalia?
In areas like that, Democrats run as Republicans, so you get RINOs. Have to watch out.
I cannot understand the appeal of early voting if one must wait in line for hours.
I vote day of at my precinct and have never had to wait. At all.
We had 6 unopposed Dem judges in Harris county. Depressing.
If there is a line one day you just come back the next day—many folks do that.
But now things have changed dramatically. Covid lockdowns, people fired for not taking the clot shot, inflation, unaffordable housing, uncontrolled immigration with its attendant rising crimes, shocking crimes openly committed in New York City, budget squeezing energy prices, rising unemployment for American workers whose jobs are being given to illegal aliens, rising number of business failures, public support for men to cheat women and girls out of sports competitions, public support for fake males and fake females, public support to castrate male children and do gender changing procedures on female children, to name a few things that have gone wrong.
I can summarize what has happened like this:
For four years Democrats gave Trump hell. The next four years Democrats gave EVERYONE hell.
Voters have started to understand this, because if Harris wins, the last four years of hell will be remembered fondly compared to what is coming. Maybe that is why there is not a whole lot of enthusiasm. There are voters who will still absolutely not vote for Trump or any other Republican. But in this election they know that a vote for Harris is foolish. So why bother. Just stay home.
In my case, I’m a rotating shift worker & will barely have time to vote on the day, if I’m lucky. Just happened to work out to get into town, do some errands with the MRS, and vote. If I didn’t do that, I’d have to plan ahead and do mail-in.
