Students who invaded Stanford president’s office and injured cop slapped with felony charges

Anti-Israel activists took over a building at Stanford University and thoroughly vandalized it before being arrested on Wednesday.

The protesters are facing felony charges, and seniors in the group will not be allowed to graduate.

Thirteen anti-Israel protesters who invaded and occupied Stanford University’s president’s office were charged with felonies by the school, with some being forbidden from graduating as a result.

On Wednesday, the protesters forcefully entered the building that serves as the office of Stanford’s president and provost. The activists, who included 11 current students, left graffiti throughout the Main Quad before barricading themselves in the office building, such as “Death 2 US,” “F*** Amerikkka,” and “Kill Cops.”

The students, part of the People’s University for Palestine group, demanded that Stanford divest from businesses that have ties to Israel, including Hewlett-Packard.

A spokesperson for the anti-Israel students said that they would “remain inside the building” and “[refuse] to leave until their demands are met.” Stanford leadership, however, refused to give in, and campus police, together with the Santa Clara County police, dispersed the protestors from the building.

Then Stanford would graduate them with honors.

They refused to leave until their demands were met, but they did leave and their demands were not met. They had a few glorious minutes “trending” on their social media platforms. They enjoyed unleashing their inner chaos by breaking things and writing words on walls.

At some point, they said “oops” that didn’t go as planned. Probably some of them were not doing well in the grade department so they wanted to go out in a blaze, kind of a rage quitting. Others were caught up in the moment feeling the euphoria of a sudden purpose in their lives. Two of them weren’t even students so they had nothing to lose and probably played a big part in the instigation of the affair. That to me is the most interesting part of the story. How in the world did those girls decide to risk their entire life and future on a role in a tik tok video?

Don’t just expel them, remove their records from Stanford as if they never attended at all. Refuse all requests for transcripts from prospective employers.

In a way, they are. Only difference is black to Jewish. I am not surprised that this would happen at Stanford with their history of being distinct, just a little surprised at the reaction of administration to handle it in such a legal procedure as to go after felonies. The left, and Stanford is hip deep in that, has always seen fit to write off these types of action without any real “punishment or sending a message.” I get the point that they are sending a message however I think they will drop charges before the court date while looking like they are being so “in the middle.” It’s good for the left to show some of that compassion they brag about. Sells votes. Only problem is that they are in California and they bleed blue already if cut. Not much gain but for local and they need that with the problems they have there the left has dumped on them.

Because for far too many young people tik tok and other social media is their world and it boosts their ego. It gives them a feeling of worth the higher their viewer numbers are. Pretty sad that so many individuals base their self worth on likes and "friends" that are in reality complete strangers. Society is quite skewed.
