REAL ID was signed into law in 2005. While there is a lot of chatter about non-citizens being registered to vote, I have yet to read any story about comparing the READ ID lists in each state against the Voter Registration Rolls.
It seems so obvious for the States to make these comparisons, and it seems no one even wants to talk about it.
Why is it?
When I moved to AZ, I did not yet have a permanent address and accidentally left my GA driver’s license behind, so I could not get a Real ID. I have a passport, so I have no plans to get a Real ID as my DL doesn’t have to be renewed for years.
‘Cause it might work. DNC-controlled states do not want honesty. Or, umm, haven’t you noticed?
“””‘Cause it might work. DNC-controlled states do not want honesty. Or, umm, haven’t you noticed?”””
Since the GOP controls about 27 States, it suggests that the GOP does not want honesty.
Not as of yesterday. LOL. They told me what form to complete and I had to go down to the office. The SSA office in my city is akin to the bar scene in Star Wars or Rick’s in Casablanca. It’s not something I am looking forward to.
Noncitizens can get a valid drivers license, which is one of the accepted forms of identification for voter registration.
There’s no way to tell if they are American citizens or not.
I’m not seeing the relevance of RealID when the very government demanding we get one for air travel waives ALL rules when transporting illegal aliens into and across our country by plane...with our tax money given to NGOs to accomplish that in order to deny any wrong-doing.
Ot every one needs a real id so won’t get one even if they are a citzen. My very elderly mother will not be flying, let alone driving or buying a gun , but she will still be voting.
Life is a bitch at times. Go get your valid ID card
and move on down the line to other needs/matters.
“””My very elderly mother will not be flying, let alone driving or buying a gun , but she will still be voting.”””
And these elderly people as you described probably represent less than 5% of the registered voters.
I am focusing on the 95% who will be flying or other activities and will need a REAL ID or Passport.
So again the question is: Why aren’t the States comparing the REAL ID lists which contain the person’s name, the person’s address, and whether or not the person is a US Citizen against the Voter Registration Rolls.
It seems pretty easy. For example:
On his NEBRASKA REAL ID Drivers License Jose Jimenez lives at 123 Main Street in Atown, Nebraska and is NOT a US Citizen.
On the NEBRASKA Voter Registration Roll Jose Jimenez lives at 123 Main Street in Atown Nebraska and the voter records show Jose has been voting since 2012.
Why aren’t the States doing this simply comparison?
"Es no my fault amigos stuck on station. NASA DEI es no my yob!"
I have a feeling all Federal limits on non-RealID will be annulled as discriminatory.
Actually, there is. The US State Dept. has the names and addresses of all the illegal aliens they brought over here. All the states need to do is compare who voted with the alien list, and deport.
That's right. Illegal aliens who get caught voting in fed election get deported right away. And the naieve aliens have no clue Harris / Biden is setting them up.
How to Replace a Social Security Card
The SSA website says in most cases, you can do this all online.
That is not the purpose of the Real ID. It is to gain access to FED controlled entities like commercial airlines, military bases and other federal facilities such as court houses. There is no requirement for me to have a Real ID.
“””Actually, there is. The US State Dept. has the names and addresses of all the illegal aliens they brought over here. All the states need to do is compare who voted with the alien list, and deport.”””
The reports I have been reading is that the State Dept. and DHS have been refusing to give that information to the States.
Since the States are the ones who possess the READ ID lists, then why aren’t the States using those REAL ID lists to confirm whether a person on the Voter Registration List is a citizen or not?
My suspicion re: the advent of RealID was a way of telling the actual American citizens from those who had fake IDs, fake SS#s, and real drivers’ licenses but who are illegal aliens. A government that wants illegals to vote in elections will not want to make that distinction at the polls...
There is no requirement for me to get a RealID unless I want to board an aircraft or enter a fed facility. This requirement has been delayed for years. The new deadline is May of 2025.
