Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is reportedly considering the inclusion of the SAVE Act in the upcoming spending bill. This decision comes at the behest of former President Donald Trump, who has made it clear that election integrity is a non-negotiable priority.
The SAVE Act, which mandates proof of citizenship for voter registration in federal elections, has become a rallying cry for many Americans who believe it is crucial to safeguarding the sanctity of the ballot box.
President Trump has been unyielding in his support for the SAVE Act, going as far as to suggest that the government should shut down if the bill is not included in the Continuing Resolution (CR).
Speaking on Monica Crowley’s podcast, Trump emphasized the importance of the SAVE Act, along with other measures like reverting to paper ballots and bolstering border security, as essential steps to protect the nation’s future.

? Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution sets up the house of representatives.
“Seventeenth Amendment?”
The Seventeenth Amendment made for a federal election.
DO IT. Let the democrats caterwaul like usual especially after they just had their convention where a photo ID was required to attend.
Means about a bag of sh. The real save act would eliminate 90% of the federal government. That will save the world.
The county elections officials will not comply any how.

Maybe we all better be writing to Mr. Mike Johnson, and our representative in the state we live in and tell them to include the SAVE act in the spending bill or else shut down the government if it’s not a it’s not passed. If they don’t do this, we have been totally betrayed by all of them. And it’s our job to help them do their job correctly.
The Seventeenth Amendment established the direct election of US Senators in each state.
“The Framers of the Constitution vested states with authority to determine qualifications for voters—referred to in the Constitution as electors—in congressional elections,1 subject to the express requirement that a state can prescribe no qualifications other than those the state has stipulated for voters for the more numerous branch of the state legislature.”

It is the right of the individual states to determine who is eligible to vote
A three-judge panel ruled that rights granted to American
citizens by the Constitution do not apply to illegals.
<><>“The Second Amendment protects the right of ‘the people’ to keep and bear arms. “
<><>”the term ‘the people’ under the Second Amendment does not include illegal aliens.”
<><>“an illegal alien does not become ‘part of a national community’ by unlawfully entering it,”
<><>”just as a thief does not become an owner of property by stealing it.”
(U.S. Circuit Judge James Ho in a concurring opinion.)
And after Mr. Schumer went to all the trouble of acting friendlier to me. He even threw me a ball to fetch.
McConnell had to get the judges through the Senate or he would have been run out of DC.
This is nothing more than a repeat of John McCain's "thumbs down" when he voted against repealing Obamacare shortly before dying. Could McConnell be thinking that his end is near, too, so why not?

AZ passed a law to require proof of citizenship to vote and the courts ruled that it couldn’t apply to federal elections because the federal laws about federal elections don’t contain that language.
IOW, it’s supposed to be a state issue according to the Constitution but the feds butted in and excluded the possibility of requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, according to the courts.
IOW, according to current federal law and the courts’ interpretation of that law versus the US Constitution, NO STATE can require proof of citizenship for somebody voting in federal elections.
When this is changed, it will no longer be worth the democrats bribing illegals to come here, except for the child sex trafficking and organ harvesting.
A WHOLE BUNCH of reasons why this law is desperately needed, not only for election integrity but also to save a LOT of innocent children.
“You mean the Repukes are talking about pulling a RAT trick, and including an Act that’s good for American citizens? Tell me is ain’t so.”
Is there a “Rules for Radicals” book for Conservatives?
“Justices allow Arizona to enforce proof-of-citizenship law for 2024 voter registration”
Is that really Speaker Johnson? Somehow you made him appear as even more of a goober but made him look way with that receding hairline and 1950’s glasses.
Way older
Its WALLY COX from the 50s!!!

Also:
"While the Constitution grants states authority over voter qualifications, voting for Members of the House of Representatives is also governed by other provisions of the Constitution. For instance, under the Elections Clause set forth at Article I, Section 4, Clause 1, Congress may preempt state laws governing the Time, Place and Manner of elections to protect the right to vote for Members of Congress from official or private denial."
Notice the bolded word " manner "
