Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is facing a storm of criticism after a shocking moment at the Democratic National Convention, where he was allegedly seen aggressively pulling his 17-year-old son, Gus Walz, by the arm on stage.
The unsettling incident occurred on the third day of the DNC, where Tim Walz formally accepted the vice-presidential nomination.
Walz has been embroiled in controversy regarding his false claims about the use of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in his family’s journey to conceive their children.
.... Snip....
His speech brought his son Gus, who has a nonverbal learning disorder as well as anxiety and ADHD, to tears.
Following his ’emotional’ speech to his family, Tim Walz was seen walking with them when he allegedly yanked his son Gus by the arm, pulling him on stage in a manner that many have described as aggressive and uncalled for.

What do you expect from an former teacher who puts down someone for going to Yale. And he’s not joking.
Maybe on the campaign trail Tampon Tim can bring son on stage and do a little number, like in "Young Frankenstein"
“Nobody said he was non verbal.”
Original post: “His speech brought his son Gus, who has a NONVERBAL learning disorder as well as anxiety and ADHD, to tears.”
“I would think a non-verbal learning disorder is someone who don’t not learn well from verbal commands or teaching.”
That’s not it. It’s non-VERBAL - can’t/won’t speak. “Nonverbal communication is the process of sending and receiving messages without words”
I heard him say, “That’s my dad.”
Someone should have called CPS. They have video evidence of it happening and if it is even suspected it has to be investigated. In California they have Mandated Reporting which means if anyone in medical or educational or law enforcement employment is required to report any suspected child abuse. If anyone saw it and didn’t report it they are in violation of law. I didn’t see it so I am not required to report it but anyone who did see it has a legal obligation at least in California.
I’ve heard some people say that he was helping his son avoid walking into a teleprompter.
According to the Mayo Clinic, children with nonverbal learning disorders can excel at memorizing words and have good basic language skills. They may have a harder time with understanding abstract concepts, reading people’s emotions through facial expressions and physical coordination.
He can talk, obviously. I heard it also.
Much ado about nothing...
Partisanship creating a “controversy” for partisanships sake.
There are plenty of real legitimate reasons to be criticizing these people...
This isn’t one of them.

He just passed his driving test also, despite not being able to handle abstract concepts, ?like head on collisions kill other people?
If the son is able to drive, what is the point of yanking him towards the goal. Waltz has a mean face, the Dems will finally have their Dick Cheney.
“I just knew his type; he’s easily frustratable and masks his anger through the “swell guy” act...If Vance pokes at the sores that threaten to expose this guy’s years of fraud and fakery, then we should see the real Walz come through...”
I live in Minnesota and what you say is true.
He does have a thin skin when someone (be it a reporter or a guy on the street) calls him on something that he doesn’t wanna answer to or for. Of course, there are few media types in our state who will do it but there’s a few.
Walz will get this slightly red face and the tone in his voice is pure “I’d like to tell you (if I wasn’t on TV) what you can do with your question”.
In 2018, Jeff Johnson (the GOP candidate for governor) really went after him in a televised debate. Walz hated it. He got defensive and his “swell guy” face disappeared real quick.
But the Trump-Vance staffers need to understand that Walz is good too - good at making himself look like the aggrieved party because someone dared question him.
17-year-old son? Phony picture,
“ His son was about to walk into the telepromoter.”

He ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT. The perspective of the camera’s view may have made it appear that way but he was actually nowhere close to it. Other camera angles make that clear.
Are you trying to make excuses for the evil presented by ‘RATS?
Interesting! Thank you for sharing that!
