Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri appeared on the Jesse Watters show on FOX News on Monday night and shared explosive new details about the failures of the Secret Service during the attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, PA in July.
Hawley said that all of this information came to him from whistleblowers within the Secret Service.
He notes that these people came forward because they are terrified that this is going to happen again, since these issues have not been resolved and no one has been fired.

Nobody was fired. The lead site agent responsible for the Trump security disaster continues to oversee security for political events.
Whistleblowers tell Sen. Josh Hawley that she, the lead site agent, was not enforcing normal security protocols and describe her as “inexperienced and incompetent.”
There was a failure to check IDs at the event, allowing unchecked access to secure areas.
Additionally, Homeland Security agents, many of whom had never worked a rally before, were primarily responsible for security instead of experienced Secret Service agents.
The Secret Service snipers communicated via text message without Wi-Fi, and the Secret Service itself was in a separate command center, far from the action.

That might have been one of the ARG employees who were shooing people away that day....they were doing so because ARG property is private property and not part of the farm show property. Thus the fence. They wanted them to go on the other side of the fence.

IMO, They set up the conditions for a previously identified malcontent who was a good shot to succeed. They engineered the easy access he got, ignored all the warnings and allowed him to get off several shots at Trump before their counter-sniper took him out (to silence him). They tried to murder Donald Trump, plain and simple. There is no other explanation for the cornucopia of monumental eff ups by the USSS that day.
This was a deep state assassination.

When the story starts looking really suspicious they revert to pleading incompetence, which is nothing more than a way of providing cover for a screwed up underlying criminal conspiracy to kill Trump.
This was a case of complicity, not mere incompetence. Incompetence is just the cover story.
Republicans need to do a better job at protecting whistleblowers. Whistleblowers who exposed people and agencies in Democrat administrations have been investigated, harassed or forced out of their jobs.
