Be interesting to know how often they “do not keep recordings” of historical events.
Wow, that whole episide is stinking like a DemocRAT run project.
No, wait........
Similar to Dallas in 1963; the Dallas Police and FBI interrogated Oswald for 12 hours in the two days after he was captured. There are no recordings bc neither the entire Dallas police force nor apparently the FBi owned a tape recorder. There are no transcripts bc apparently no stenographers could be found in the State of Texas or adjoining states, nor could one find a seat on an airplane from DC. All we have are subsequent memoranda from years later providing “recollections” of the police and FBI who interrogated Oswald. Sound familiar?
I still think that the shooting started with a government sniper who managed to graze Trump’s ear. Once the initial shots were fired, Crooks executed his part of the plan, firing into the crowd, thinking he was causing a distraction and would be allowed to escape. But he was already in the sights of a second government sniper who allowed Crooks to fire 5 times and then took him out with a headshot — thus eliminating the “lone gunman”.
100% government operation. Communications eliminated. Evidence fiddled with. How many shells were found with Crooks? Was it 5? Was it 8? The shells next to Crooks were greater than the shots fired by Crooks.
They aren’t going to be able to cover this up forever.
SS Director Ronald Rowe: On our radio nets, we do, sir. Are those memorialized?
Sen. Ron Johnson: Are those saved?
SS Director Ronald Rowe: The radio traffic from Butler, we did not have recordings.
Sen. Ron Johnson: Do you normally?
SS Director Ronald Rowe: Not on the road outside of DC or outside of a presidential or vice presidential stop.
Sen. Ron Johnson: So communications between Secret Service agents will not be available like we’ve gotten the communications from local law enforcement.
SS Director Ronald Rowe: I’m sorry, Senator.
Sen. Ron Johnson: So we’re not going to be able to get those communications. You didn’t save is very unfortunate.
SS Director Ronald Rowe: It is, sir. Moving forward, I’ve directed that we will now start recording those so that we will have them moving forward.

The liberals have to be removed, preferably all liberalism, in any form, should be outlawed.
I could see their deleting recordings after a while IF NOTHING HAPPENED. Nobody is this forgetful or incompetent. They were in on it and they have the blood of one murder victim and two other attempted murder victims on their hands.
Makes me wonder how they were prepared to respond had they been successful with their plan.
Maybe Trump was also talking about the ss when he said, “They’re not sending their best and their brightest.”
Way to many coincidences.
They plotted to murder him.
Honestly I don’t know what makes mefeel worse: thinking it’s possible that govt and other powers combined to try to assassinate a candidate for POTUS like some Taylor Caldwell novel or finding my self almost agreeing with Jim Hoft.
This is my shocked face. :-/
Like with a cloth
No recordings!
First time they deployed Sniper Teams for former President Trump. DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES, DON’T CHA KNOW!
Hmmm….
The incompetence seems so gross as to indicate intentionality.
Why don’t Republicans pass laws in regards to government agencies using and preserving radio and cell phone communications?
It’s beyond ridiculous that the FBI doesn’t use recordings during interviews.
The entire Mueller investigation team deleted the information on their phones and suffered no repercussions.
Now the Secret Service deleted radio recordings from an attempted presidential assassination. Zero accountability.
There should be laws and those laws should be significant.
Not to be immodest but I predicted the second day “The FBI and others will say the digital recordings of the radio conversations were “lost.”
Has information is continued to trickle out I’ve changed my position.
At first I said it was one of two things. It was either gross incompetence or an inside job. A week or two later I was saying it is criminal negligence for an inside job.
I’m convinced now that it’s an inside job. The plausible denial card simply is not playing. And we’re just really stupid and confident fools card isn’t playing either.
The transcript posted by Indy Pendance in #7 is exactly what I remember Rowe saying during the hearing. I was absolutely flabbergasted that the USSS would NOT keep recordings anywhere they were. What the HELL is the logic of that? To save a few shekels of storage expense? The agency is run by idiots.
