I don’t know what I’m doing right, but at 70 I’m actually the subject of conversation among our friends because I simply don’t get sick. Well, hardly ever. And even when I do, it’s very mild compared to everybody else. I think I’ll watch the video and see if he talks about anything I eat.
I’ve been a fanatic about a diverse diet for my entire life. Heck, I have almost a hundred cans of Sardines in the pantry. And when a bug came through our family, all 8 people exposed to it got really sick, except for me. Nothing. not even a weak day.
I don’t think it’s lifestyle or exercise or genetics. It’s gotta be diet related. On a side note, I sometimes will eat onions almost like eating an apple.
And I did have open heart surgery in 3/23, but that was because of a birth defect.
Bfl. Thanks! Looking forward
Do you drink alcohol?
What else do you eat besides sardines?
That’s the funny thing. Yes, I do drink alcohol. Heck, I’m surrounded by bourbon distilleries.😁
But I don’t drink that much. I don’t drink every day and I definitely don’t get drunk.
Regarding food, I’ll throw this out: I was drinking Kombucha like it was water for a couple of months after my surgery to get the good bacteria back in my system. I also had a 64 oz bottle of it a few weeks before the bug came through. And I am the only one who did.
Other than that, the only fast food I do is the occasional pizza with everything, anchovies on the side (my wife hates them) and we rarely do restaurants. We get into smoothie crazes and “big salad” weeks from time to time, but both of us are somewhat overweight. I’m 225 at 6’1”, but I have a large frame. My wife was in the 105 lb range her entire life, no matter what she ate. Then Menopause kicked her butt. I have no clue how much she weighs now. She’s heavier than she was, but I’m guessing by 30-40 lbs. It doesn’t matter and we don’t talk about it. 😉 We’re still active and that’s the point. Even at 70.
But getting back to food, I’ve gotten into eating a lot of sauerkraut lately. Also, a lot of raw, unsalted nuts of all kinds. And lots of meat, but usually from steers we’ve had butchered locally. The place in Loretto is amazing. Plenty of mouth watering thick, juicy and tender steaks including Filet Mignon to die for. And I eat the organs too, but not the brain or tongue. We give that stuff to the dog.
I can’t think of anything else in particular except about 5 cups of coffee a day. Oh, and though allergies are a real pain in our area (rural Kentucky), I have none. I think that one may be genetic.
(Heck, I have almost a hundred cans of Sardines in the pantry)
I just want to assure you that I will never come to steal your sardines.
😜
Said it many times: when I stopped following my doctor’s diet advice I stopped needing his services constantly.
BFL
do u have O neg blood?
It’s all about the gut and avoiding the bad. Plus, ‘all things in moderation.’
You’ve clearly figured that out. Kudos.
Worth the effort to watch this for a bit. Doctor talking about the flaws of the vaccine.
The video is 2:05:53 in length but it delves into reliance of healthcare from prescriptions, and changing instead to the model of a change of lifestyle.
Also, he brings forth information about the covid vaccine and its effects.

>It doesn’t matter and we don’t talk about it.
A wise man indeed!
It sounds like y’all are well. We still get up that way, MIL is still there, and BIL has a place on Rough now.
Thank you!
I know my blood is red, but that’s about it.
I’m the same way. But I have spinal problems that cause enough grief. Had 2 fusions since last yearm still recovering from the last one.
I eat a lot of red meat and salmon. Eat a lot of nuts and avocado’s and salads. Put aloe in my cranberry juice.
Take a lot of supplements including a good probiotic with at least 12 strains.
I don’t remember the last time I was sick.
Oth, I drink a lot of coffee too.
🤣😂
Good decision!
