In the wake of the attempted assassination on former President Donald Trump, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have issued a joint intelligence bulletin.

TOP LINE: Bulletin says attempted assassination “reinforces our assessment that election-related targets are under a heightened threat of attack or other types of disruptive incidents.”
CONTEXT: But near catastrophic lapses suggest the security posture did not reflect this “heightened threat.”
BULLETIN excerpts including Crooks movements before the attack and shipping history.
The document details several near misses in security protocol, indicating a significant underestimation of the threat level.
Investigative reports suggest that Crooks had purchased 50 rounds of ammunition the day before the event and had been receiving packages, some marked as hazardous materials. The FBI’s search also uncovered three suspected improvised explosive devices—one at his residence and two in his vehicle—though all were safely neutralized.

Crooks classmate reveals Crooks angry because he was forced to leave his 8-ball of cocaine behind during Whitehouse visit.
Probably for the explosive devices he was building. He started getting these sent to him in the last few months which, interestingly enough, is when his conversations on Discord seem to have stopped.
My theory has been that MK Ultra recruiters data-mined Discord to find somebody who would be vulnerable to MK Ultra brainwashing techniques to create an assassin, found Crooks, started conversations with him as they pretended to be like-minded gamers, and arranged offline meetings. Through these hidden communications Crooks was brainwashed into training on the rifle at the shooting range and basically became an assassin without leaving any trail of radicalization.
It probably sounds crazy, but what sounds even crazier is that a good, quiet, smart, well-adjusted, unmedicated kid just one day out of the blue tries to assassinate Donald Trump, without ever once talking about politics, frequenting political sites, or expressing any opinion of any kind. He asks for Saturday off of work because he has something important but says he’ll be back to work on Sunday. He calmly goes about the job of setting up his shooting position as if he hasn’t a care in the world, and everything works perfectly until Donald Trump turns his head to the right and the shot just skims his ear instead of killing him.
We’re supposed to believe that?
Somehow that kid came up with the idea and did what it took to carry it out, including making explosive devices with detonators - all without ever acting out of the ordinary.
I don’t buy it.
Maybe the MK Ultra theory seems far-fetched but it’s not as far-fetched as the above, which seems to be the other alternative.

Also possible he was told he would be “participating in a training excersize”. Someone in the SS had to open the way for this, and might have been hoping that the irregularities would be lost in the confusion after a successful assassination.
