Biden Campaign Believes Obama Is Working ‘Behind The Scenes’ To ‘Orchestrate’ Calls To Step Down, Joe Scarborough Says
Daily Caller ^ | JULY 11, 2024 | JASON COHEN

President Joe Biden’s campaign thinks former President Barack Obama is secretly coordinating the growing push for the president to drop out of the race, “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough asserted on Thursday.

Obama allies have pounced on Biden as the president and his team strive to maintain his standing as the presumptive Democratic nominee following his disastrous debate performance. The Biden campaign and “Democratic officials” suspect Obama himself is behind the effort, Scarborough said, adding he believes it will backfire.

“What’s going on behind the scenes is the Biden campaign and many Democratic officials do believe that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes to orchestrate this,” Scarborough said. “And if Joe Biden believes that, that’s not going to get him out of the race any faster. Any time David Axelrod attacks him, David Axelrod ensures that Joe Biden will dig himself in another day. Any time the pod bros say something nasty about Joe Biden, which they have repeatedly said nasty things about Joe Biden, before the debate, after the debate. Every time they do that, he digs in a little bit further.”

Jon Favreau, a former Obama aide who hosts Pod Save America, corroborated Democratic donor and actor George Clooney’s Wednesday New York Times op-ed alleging Biden is in cognitive decline. David Axelrod, Obama’s chief campaign strategist, called the op-ed “devastating.”

“The pathway to Joe Biden graciously stepping aside does not go through the Obamas or the Clintons. It just doesn’t,” Scarborough continued. “Again, as I said, because some people don’t understand. I’m not talking about what ought to be. I’m talking about what is. And this is the reality … Joe Biden is deeply resentful of his treatment under not only the Obama staff but also the way he was pushed aside for Hillary Clinton. He’s deeply resentful of those trying to shove him out of the way. He’s always felt like an outsider, always felt like people have looked down upon him.”

CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten said on Wednesday that Biden’s reelection chances are currently poor as he trails former President Donald Trump in states he must carry after their debate.

“We’ve been talking a lot about the national polls, but of course the race is won or lost in the Electoral College. And I just really want to give an indication here that Donald Trump is favored at this particular point,” Enten told host Jim Acosta. “That’s the bottom line.”

The Cook Political Report on Tuesday changed its projections to adjust Arizona, Georgia and Nevada from “toss up” states to “lean Republican.” It also adjusted New Hampshire, Minnesota and Nebraska’s second district from “likely Democrat” to “lean Democrat.”

Yep. That appears to be the case. George Clooney’s statement is a case in point.

Dems best option is for Joe to go quietly and Obama is the least likely to make tt happen.

I was surprised at how different Joe’s opening monologue was to his give and take with his guests. It goes from a “hot take” to something a bit more tepid. It made me wonder if MSNBC has now started writing his openings since his big meltdown.

Barack Approved – George Clooney Tells Joe Biden, It’s Time to Go

July 10, 2024 | Sundance | 360 Comments

There’s a lot of political newbies around, so some background is needed first.  Most people don’t know but, George Clooney was being groomed by the same people who groomed Barack Obama, for the purposes of replacing him at a later date.  Yes, Clooney was being groomed to be a POTUS.

The problem they had was that George is not an intelligent man; actually, he’s as dumb as a box of rocks, and no amount of teaching, coaching and guidance was going to change that.

By the time they gave up the effort, they had already recruited Amal Alamuddin to be the brain trust of the duo – which really didn’t matter because George was a switch hitter.

Amal Clooney’s curriculum vitae is very well-known as an international human rights lawyer with big time geopolitical connections.  Amal’s WEF, geopolitical and United Nations bonafide’s are very strong.

George Clooney is also extremely close friends with Barack Obama.  The Clooneys and the Obamas vacation together, hang together, network together, share the same ideological outlooks and are essentially the black and white version of each other; sans intellect. I digress.

The bottom line is that George Clooney doesn’t write an op ed in the New York Times telling Joe Biden to quit the race, unless it’s actually Barack Obama sending the message and Amal Clooney writing the text.   The Biden’s are very well aware of this.

NEW YORK TIMES – […] I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him. Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. In the last four years, he’s won many of the battles he’s faced.

But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can. It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe “big F-ing deal” Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.

Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. But our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw. We’re all so terrified by the prospect of a second Trump term that we’ve opted to ignore every warning sign. The George Stephanopoulos interview only reinforced what we saw the week before. (read more)

Putting aside all the proverbial “love” nonsense that Amal typed into the emotionally intelligent viewpoint, and understanding the full context of what this op ed represents from the perspective of the Obama messaging system, this printed, and very public statement effectively ends the donor support for Biden.

Keep watching.

Biden Campaign Believes Obama Is Working ‘Behind The Scenes’ To ‘Orchestrate’ Calls To Step Down

Well, they say "where there's smoke, there's fire". Where's my gasoline can when I need it?

Remember... Obama is a “lead from behind” type of personality. If his entire career were as a senator, his voting of “present” would be legendary. If he were the leader that the mythology purports, there would be cohesiveness in the party. There’s not. It’s chaos. Obama and many others will play it safe until the political zeitgeist takes shape. Meanwhile, the down ballot Dems will be damaged.

Four years of 2020-style unrest under Trump would probably suit Obama

Then, there is no reason for Biden to step aside. This poll settles it!
