“So you support this twist of Trump’s platform by GOPe”

Says the one who supports DJT to pick pro choice Tulsi Gabbard as VP
Social Issues: Protect abortion rights. Ban discrimination based on sexual preference, identity.
Gabbard believes that abortion should remain legal and accessible. She voted against a proposed ban on abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. She supports the legal status of same-sex marriage, opposes attempts to bar transgender Americans from the military and supports laws to ban discrimination based on sexual preference.
Well stated. 🙂👍
Generally that has been true and Trump criticized this in the past as well. With Lara Trump running RNC this was all supposed to be aligned with Trump. And it would be historic to have an in sync platform instead of candidates having to parse how they don’t support certain planks. The current one is an improvement, done to 20 point but they don’t match Trump and from that list to the other 15 pages, they don’t match. The doc was rushed, not edited, and published maybe, as you say, no one cares. But this is Trump’s RNC, run by Lara Trump, and there is no excuse for this.
Very likely true, but an hour of editing, maybe review by Trump and the campaign would have helped make sure it was 100% Trump.
For years, the Republican establishment allowed delegates to put together the most principled platform and sold out their voters any time they felt like it.
The ONLY thing that matters is if Trump can be trusted to keep his promises and he's proven he can be more than any President in any of our lifetimes.
Trump has done more for the pro-life movement (by putting judges on SCOTUS) to overturn Roe than all those whining about this combined.

No one with any sense should trust you to do anything but undermine Trump.
What are you ranting about? Have you been following any of the threads on the RNC platform? You really need to get over your DeSantis issues as nearly everyone else has long ago.
For years, the platform was stellar while your Republican establishment was PERFECTION while your Republican establishment buddies (like DeSantis) sold the base out at every turn.
Trump has RECORD of keeping his promises.
That's not good enough? Get the hell out and go to some website run by Bill Kristol or Lincoln Project.
Stop sidetracking legit discussions with your insults.
We've got 99 problems in this country and GOP platform isn't one of them.
It's totally meaningless to people like you that want to use to attack Lara Trump or Trump himself.
So you don’t care about that platform, fine. Move along and let the rest of us discuss it. BTW, if you haven’t notices, lots of Freepers have posted articles and participated in discussions about it. So be respectful and move along.
…yet still longer than the Constitution.
How pathetic. I joined the Constitution Party after I decided the Democrats were irredeemably predatory and evil, and the Republicans were irredeemably moronic and cowardly.
“cottage industries” is a spot on description. A good description of the pro-life orgs. I’ve noticed the pro-life industry is stagnate in their messaging. Pro-lifers get beat up and bloodied by the left with their propaganda that life issues intrude on a women’s choice.
The Pro-Life movement need to change their messaging. Will they - NO. There’s too many well paying positions, mean while we in the trenches get bloodied and the tragedy is the unborn pay the ultimate price w their life.
I’ve posted this on several threads, most b4 RvW was overturned and various websites w abortion commentary. I’m too old to push this msg as I would have “back in the day”.
Messaging by the pro-abort crowd of today states the mother is losing her right to abort her unborn child. I know sick, but it works for many empowered woman who feel they are being denied their’ right.
The new pro-life messaging needs to be about providing the unborn w their constitutionally guaranteed human rights - the human right to exist.
Though Civil War history was framed as ending slavery, it was, in fact, about providing slaves their God Given constitutionally guaranteed human rights. Many Christians, who joined the Union Army, joined based upon their human rights conviction. Providing slaves human right status by extension ended slavery.
This analogy to slavery is a winner for the unborn.
The presentation of providing the unborn their God Given constitutionally guaranteed human rights does not fall into the pro-abort trap of denying women their right.
This augment is an affirmation of the unborn’ constitutionally guaranteed human right to be born – to exist.
I pray that the Pro-Life hierarchy see this suggestion and flip their messaging.
Trump is one of a handful that has proven he can be trusted.
Thanks, Robert. Hugs.

I struggle with it, the English language. That’s why I never tried to learn a second language.🤣
I was HORRENDOUS in high school Latin. And the teachers cringed when I recited in French and Russian in college. I am only grateful that U of Chicago only wanted languages for research so it was reading, not speaking.
But English!!!! I love the way you can be so precise and I love the rhythm of words. I often didn’t know the words I wanted to use in a video script, but I knew the rhythm of the words and just needed to fill in the blanks.
That turned out so be incredibly useful when I spent those years researching 19th century American newspaper poetry. Rhythm was one of the things to look for when trying to identify anonymous poets.

“To Miss” was published by Henry Livingston, Jr, author of “Night Before Christmas” in the New York Magazine of Sep, 1791 under the pseudonym “R”. It also appears in Henry’s poetry manuscript book on pages 60-61, thus connecting Henry to the pseudonym “R.”

That's when she hit me that I had either read the paragraph and added a word that wasn't there or I had skipped over a word that was there, which the result made the paragraph wrong because that word that I had added or omitted changed the entire meaning of the paragraph.
I had done this three times in a row. There was a reason I didn't like to read. I had some sort of issue reading. Of course I never looked into it, to see what it was. So, I still have issues reading to this day. I prefer to listen to an oral presentation rather than read. It must be some form of dyslexia. I have to read my responses like a hawk, and sometimes I still miss my mistakes.
I aways knew I was a little off anyway, so why worry about it. 🤣
I had surgery a few years back now, and the doctor told my wife that my innards were all screwed up. She told me but I can't really remember, but I think my circulatory system was out of place with normal people. I believe it was on top of my organs rather than being behind the organs So, I have internal issues as well. Oh well, I have gotten along for all these years, and as I enter into my twilight years I see no reason to concern myself with my foibles. I do not think there was any way to fix the issues anyway. 🤣
