Ex-Somali PM: Rep. Omar Doesn’t Represent America, She Represents Somalia....."The success of Ilhan is the success of Somalia."
Front Page Magazine ^ | July 1, 2024 | Daniel Greenfield

The man knows what he’s talking about. And it’s not the first video highlighting Rep. Ilhan Omar’s mission.

In January, a video went viral featuring Rep. Omar allegedly declaring that “We as Somalians,” the translation describes, are an “organized society”, “people of one blood”, “brothers and sisters”, “people who know they are Somalians first, Muslims second.”

“The US government will only do what Somalians in the US tell them to do,” the translation states. “They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders.”

“We Somalians must have that confidence in ourselves that we call for the shots in the US… the US is a country where one of your daughters is in congress to represent your interest for as long as I am in the US Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, in waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia… the US would not dare to support anyone against Somalia.”

“Sleep in comfort knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the US system,” she says.

Rep. Ilhan Omar claimed that video was mistranslated.

What about this latest one, via Alpha News, in which Omar stands smiling while former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Khaire states, according to the translation, that “the interest of Ilhan are not Ilhans, it’s not the interest of Minnesota, nor is it the interest of the American people, the interest of Ilhan is that of the Somalian people and Somalia.”

“The success of Ilhan is the success of Somalia.” He then urges Somalis everywhere on the planet to “support and give money to Ilhan’s campaign”

There’s a pattern to these videos. And the pattern is pretty clear.

She’s a typical example of how the Muslims invade. Enter a country under the pretext of migrating (in her case she was “rescued” from Somalia and given refuge in the US) and then they set out to destroy the present government so they can establish their long desired worldwide Caliphate under Sharia Law.

Omar and then-husband in 2016 meet w/ Somali head. She was then a state Rep. Her husband was given
a high-paying job in the Somali govt. She later won a Congressional seat. Who's calling the shots?

Your tax dollars to Somalia.

The United States has provided over $1.7 billion in humanitarian aid to Somalia since 2022, primarily through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). This aid has helped to mitigate the effects of droughts and floods.

In 2022, the U.S. government contributed more than half of all humanitarian funding for Somalia, including $146.5 million for food assistance and nearly $5 million for disaster resilience and economic recovery.

The U.S. has also provided other types of aid to Somalia, including:

Development assistance
Since 2011, the U.S. has provided $240 million in
development assistance to support Somalia’s economic, political, and social sectors. USAID’s work in Somalia also includes supporting peace building and national reconciliation initiatives, and improving the delivery of social services.

Security assistance
Over the past decade, the U.S. has provided approximately $3 billion in security assistance to Somalia and peacekeeping operations in the country, making Somalia one of the largest recipients of security aid in sub-Saharan Africa. The U.S. has also provided military support to the Transitional Federal Government and the Federal Government of Somalia in conflicts since the early 2000s

“Minnesota Compass reports a total of 86,610 Somali Americans reside in the state, the largest population in the country. An estimated 37,048 residents of Minnesota were born in Somalia, according to 2021 U.S. Census American Community Survey data.

Support from resettlement agencies and the state’s economy offering Somali Americans job opportunities, as well as schooling options, health care, and housing, contributed to the large Somali-American community, Ahmed Samatar, the founding dean of the Kofi Annan Institute for Global Citizenship at Macalester College, told WCCO News.

In the early 1990s, political instability and an ongoing civil war spurred the mass exodus and diaspora of Somalis worldwide. Many Somalis came to the U.S. as refugees. Besides Minnesota, 2020 census data show that Seattle and Columbus, Ohio, also have large populations of Somali Americans, followed by New York and California.”

“The state has 52,333 people who report Somali ancestry — the largest concentration of Somalis in America — according to the American Community Survey in 2017. How they ended up in the Upper Midwest is a combination of available jobs and a generally welcoming populace. That success then built on itself, leading to more arrivals.

The United States began issuing visas to Somali refugees displaced by civil war in the early 1990s. Initially the Somali community settled in other parts of the country, particularly San Diego. But many refugees struggled to find work with little education and English language skills.

Word gradually spread that meat processing plants in rural Minnesota offered opportunity, and Somalis showed up to take those jobs in the early 1990s. Some began in Marshall, roughly 150 miles southwest of Minneapolis, and eventually Somalis began migrating to the Twin Cities.

“Although many different paths brought people to the state, in truth the unskilled workers who found jobs in Marshall and then loudly blew the whistle were the greatest inspiration to the Somalis who chose Minnesota for their new home,” wrote Ahmed Yusuf in his book, “Somalis in Minnesota.”

We invite foreigners into our country to hate America, threaten us and undermine our sovereignty and culture. Is this a good idea?
