Israel said its forces launched flaming projectiles from a trebuchet to burn vegetation in an effort to prevent Hezbollah militants from using the brush as cover.

The countdown to war with Lebanon has begun. With failed negotiations and increasing threats from Hezbollah, Israel believes military action is inevitable. A major conflict could start within hours or days and will be far worse than what Israel just faced in Gaza.
