There is no ‘court system’. This entire government is a sham. From the CIA, FBI, Courts, State Department, Congress... you name it. Our only hope is that this sham verdict propels Trump to new heights so the next “selection” can not be stolen as it was in 2020.

They used Federal Election campaign law as a predicate crime. That makes it a federal issue.
It is also an obvious case of a CITY trying to interfere with a federal election - and consider this: It is a crime he is accused of doing while President. How much immunity does a President have? THAT case is currently being examined!

And seriously...I’m very law abiding, but if Democrats want to ignore the law, there are people in this world who would be willing to break laws I would not! That is the genius of democracy: PEACEFUL resolution of difference by voting freely. But what happens when one side refuses to allow a free vote?
I am not advocating violence, but I am observing what has happened repeatedly thru human history: If there is no peaceful means of resolving differences, then...

He becomes a patriot. He can say the system was unfair and immediately memorialize himself as a patriot and forever stick convicted felon on Trump. Even if overturned on appeal the optics of that mean that trumps record is expunged. Or he can grant clemency and let the conviction stand. There is no downside for him.

It’s hard to see how the free rein granted to jackasses hereon to insult at will isn’t negatively affecting donations. It has affected mine.
What if he flees to Florida? Can they send FBI to arrest him and return him to New York? Could this be the spark that sets off the Civil War?
What should happen—but will not.
1. Massive riot in new York city—at least a peaceful demonstration.
2. Trump needs to give a big speech and ask for a supreme Court decision ASAP.
3. Trump’s Lawyers should sue the Judge and the New York DA.
4. Trump should call for a general strike and all Americans to take to the streets and protest at the White House.
5. Time for a bold move! Trump could call for a mistrial.
I will never set foot in New York again.
