A citizen from Gaza is hospitalized at the Barzilai Medical Center who was referred to the medical center a few days ago and underwent surgery. This evening, during the treatment of him by an intern on duty, he caressed her hair and face. The upset intern ran out of the room and told the staff. We immediately involved the person responsible for gender complaints, the general nurse and the security team, while treating and calming the doctor. The security forces isolated him and the police were called to the scene and arrested the patient and he was taken into custody. The activity was done with the involvement of the director of the medical center and we continue with the necessary assistance to the intern involved.

This is a non-story.
The site linked to, provided no further information that I was able to interpret if it was a news site, though it appeared to be a message board of people who speak a language other than English. The language looked to be either Arabic or Israeli, because I do not know what it might be. Thus, I have to guess. One of those choices would be my guess. They may be neither for all I know. But in my opinion, this is not really news worthy, as it lacks too much content to understand fully what really happened other than the patient caressed the hair & face of the caregiver.
Perhaps what the patient said to the intern while “caressing” her hair and face was key. If not, it seems like an odd thing to report.

If he’s a terrorist, just shoot him. If not, and he’s a sexual predator, get a male doctor and burly male nurses to treay him. If he’s just being grateful, don’t need to make a fuss out of it.

Because it’s battery. Spitting on or punching a healthcare worker are also criminal acts, felonious in some places.
The article also says he caressed “her dress.” I think that they are tryingbto be circumspect about how they describe what happened.

Said terrorist is lucky to being treated in an Israeli hospital. If he is a terrorist, the charges for a grope are the least of his problems.
