The left only knows how to tear things down.
It’s a team sport. And the team stinks. The big difference between college and pros is good college teams have an advantage recruiting good college players, in the pros bad teams get first pick. There’s only so much one player can do. Plus of course teams need to gel. Everybody is doing the best they can. No need hand wringing.
Nobody is taking down anybody. The league loves her. They’re playing full barns for the first time in league history. They want her to succeed, they want her to be Tiger for the WNBA. But the sport is still the sport, the rules are still the rules, and rules are the best player spends their rookie contract with the worst team.
Caitlin Clarke’s performance to date and the performance of her team is a non-story outside of the basketball world.
But haters can’t leave anything be.

They lost to Vegas by 19 points.
