Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), a member of the Judiciary Committee, introduced resolution to censure U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Alito after an upside-down flag was reportedly displayed on his home after the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot.
“Beyond poor judgment, Justice Alito’s misuse of the American flag is a knowing and shameless demonstration of his political bias. He literally flew a flag in front of his house showing the world he supported the January 6th insurrectionists. What’s more, he continues to participate in litigation directly related to the 2020 election and the Insurrection, in direct violation of the federal recusal statute and the Supreme Court’s own ethics rules,” Cohen said in a statement.

This guy is an idiot, it’s not misuse. Does he not know what an inside down flag means? Alito was right, we are in distress. He was not agreeing with what was happening regardless of what side he is on.
There was no insurrection on Jan 6.

Oh, but there was. Ask the J6 folks doing time in DC gulags without a trial. The insurrection was on free peoples rights. From what I see, the gubermint was very successful in suppressing folks on the right from fear of the same destiny as the imprisoned J6 folks.
