What Trump will say is get out now or hellfire will be coming. That will end the war.

If you watched Trump’s speech today, he pledged to speedily drop the price of oil by about 60%, and that Putin would not be able to afford the war.

You will at some point see most of our pro Putin and supposedly anti Biden friends here, line up to oppose Trump.

Trump constantly reminisces on how he threatened all of our enemies and made them stop in their tracks.

America’s enemies are going to pull out all the stops in an attempt to keep Trump out of office.

How could he make it worse? Biden’s policy to fight the war to the last Ukrainian is nuts. What will be left to save if Biden continues on this path. He wants quick negotiations with Hamas and long war with Russia. His policies suck.

So they’re back to the “Trump will cause WW3” story.

After Biden caused 10/7, Ukraine, everything else.

Projection is mighty with these pathetic putzes.

This author is full of it.

Trump won’t abandon Ukraine. He wants the bloodshed and killing to stop. I believe he’ll make it a priority to get a negotiated peace settlement with harsh economic conditions if it is violated.

That’s just my speculation, though.

"Always accuse your opponent of what you yourself are doing."

So that is what will happen of Joe gets a second term, somehow.

I have a slogan for Joe: "Worse than the First".

Trump’s not going to put US troops in Ukraine (the only escalation short of nukes left). He is not going to further fund an unwinnable war. To believe any of this silliness you’d have to think Trump is stupid enough to believe this catastrophe can salvaged. No one is that stupid, especially not Trump. He will stop it immediately with negotiations.

"there is reason to believe that his rhetoric on Ukraine is more political bluster than plan of action."

True.

"Trump's dislike of Ukraine has many sources"

Trump is not anti-Ukraine. This is an illusion created by both the left and right for their own ends.

It was the State Department, Col. Vindmann, and Sen. Schiff who came up with the impeachment, not Ukraine. Zelensky's government backed Trump's version of their phone call used to impeach him. Facts conveniently forgotten to fit current narratives.

Trump wants the war to end, and Europe to own up to its own national defense priorities on their own. He does not want Europe depending on the US while micromanaging how we defend them. He's following Reagan in that being militarily strong is a good way to avoid war. Tyrants go after the weak, not the strong.

Putin views Europe and the US as weak. Trump wants to get to strength, then give Putin a deal he can't refuse.

Oh no! Trump doesn't let the DC uniparty establishment do his thinking!

We can defend the Europe of today as they insist, but that Europe -- including Russia -- is dying due to mass immigration, Leftist ideology, demographic decline, corruption, and slow economic growth.

Can Putin and Russia be dealt with and pressured into a reasonably good deal over Ukraine? In time, Trump can almost certainly do it -- a turn of events that the DC uniparty cannot prescribe.

Anyone with half a brain realizes Ukraine is a SHTF event in the making. It won’t matter who is President.

The reality is Biden is going to screw it up leaving the United State no other choice in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Michael Kimmage has to write “What If” articles about Trump while the smarter writers at WSJ get to write about business. It must suck being a boot licking toadie.
