Plug in a Tesla, tear down a dam.
What could possibly go wrong?

Ev’s definitely hit the wall of consumer resistance.
But I think the new solid state batteries could change that, if they live up to their promise.
Besides, I want to see Elon succeed.

Yeah, the problem with the NDB solid state batteries is that they may out last the car.
They are not so much batteries are solid state DC generators.
But they still a ways to go to get the power levels up far enough for larger applications.

Elon’s success does not stand or fall with Tesla.
The real matter is the interference of governments in the private sector, and only for the purpose of increasing their power and wiping out the rights of the people.

Good...Gas will always be the best option.

Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the technology of so-called solid state batteries before pinning hopes on them. Lithium is in very limited abundance in the planet’s crust, and its price keeps increasing. Furthermore, a solid-state electrolyte such as lithium aluminum germanium phosphate (LAGP) costs about $7,500 per kilogram ($16,500/lb).

That the government wants to force everyone into EVs tells me everything I need to know about them and confirms my negative option.

$7500/kg is $3400/lb. A kilogram is over twice the size of a pound.

Government force....
True. They didn’t need to force people to buy the new automatic transmissions, power steering, power brakes or power windows, or rear window defrosters.
We chose them under capitalism.
Note: The first time Lincoln put heated side view mirrors on their new models people liked them. Lincoln didn’t notice and thought they’d save a little money by quietly dropping them.
Many people complained and the item went back on the next production year.

If it’s too expensive, then it won’t work. Let’s see.
