What I said is absolutely true. The 2 parties used to be 3rd parties. Then when they became the big dogs they shut the door behind them. They invented the 2 party system lie, they played with the rules of congress to cripple opponents, and they each jerrymander districts to avoid even having opponents. At that point they abandoned all beliefs, stopped actually trying to accomplish anything, and just rouse the rabble to keep the donations coming.

The country is already. These 2 parties have been trading power for 130 off years, doing as little as possible, and not putting any effort into solving problems.

It’s not about A 3rd party. It’s about competition. Break thr duopoly, end the lie of the 2 party system, kill jerrymandering, and actually make the parties stand for something and try to do something other than win every other election and collect money.

The government psyops is the 2 party system. If you support that you support nothing ever changing.

“””” The 2 parties used to be 3rd parties.””””

The GOP was never a third party, it was the main 2nd party from the beginning.

What difference is competition going to make? Suppose there is a competitive 3rd party. Nobody gets a majority of the electoral votes. It goes to the House of Representatives and they choose a President. What has changed?

You don’t solve anything without addressing the root cause of the problem. Why are the political parties up to no good? Because they can get away with it? Why can they get away with it? If people are stuck being in the House and Senate and get the same money either way, why not do something worthwhile rather than baloney? There has to be an incentive to keep doing the crap instead of sometimes doing something good. And if that’s the case, then that incentive will be the same regardless of how many parties there are.

I just don’t see where you’re coming from.

I support getting rid of the incentives for politicians to become crooks instead of actually serving a useful purpose. Remove the bribes and threats and policy decisions can be made on the merits.

Heck, if the democrats lost all their crooks, maybe even they would come up with some decent policy decisions.

Take Ukraine. If Ukraine wasn’t laundering money for all the crooks in DC, how many would vote to send their constituents’ tax dollars abroad to make sure all Ukrainian men end up dead? We all know why they won’t do the decent thing and push for a diplomatic ending to the bloodshed. It’s because they are all in the pockets of the moneyholders in Ukraine and elsewhere. That’s not going to change just because some of the crooks have an I behind their name instead of D or R.

As long as corruption can buy politicians, D, R, and I politicians will ALL be worthless for doing anything genuinely good.
