Donald Trump has held a narrow but consistent lead in just about every poll for several months now—having never led in the polls in either the 2016 and 2020 election cycles. More significant is where this lead has come from. Trump has not improved his share of white vote at all; his improved standing has come from huge gains in minority votes, as John pointed out recently in drawing our attention to a Financial Times meta-analysis of polls going back several cycles. That chart, in case you don’t remember, looks like this:

They want to spend their 20s having sex with desirable men. They understand that birth control sometimes fails.
They understand that having a young child as a single mom will greatly impede their hunt for desirable men in their 20s, and greatly hinder their chances to land a husband in their 30s. Most men are not interested in being required to support and raise another man’s child. They don’t like the constant reminder that they were not their woman’s first choice.
So women abort.
Women also abort when they get pregnant within a relationship, and the relationship falls apart. They see a baby as an impediment to getting a new guy.

No. Because of the stupid abortion issue that we just can’t quit. It is death for the GOP. It was totally missing from Trump’s 2016 victory (with his 55% white female support). And yet Trump is still wavering on whether or not to support a nationwide abortion ban, which would result in a catastrophic defeat for the GOP at every level. Anortion is DEAD as an issue because the souls of American women (and many men) are dead to God and morality. Until and unless wehave a miraculous national revival, this will not change.
I saw a poll that said only 10% of voters list abortion as their number one concern.
The majority said their major concern was either “immigration,” i.e., the illegal alien invasion, or the economy.
“Abortion will be on the ticket.”
Why? It is no longer in the confines of the federal government with the redetermining of Roe and is now at states’ rights. The only way it would become a part of the ballot at general is if someone lies about it.
Immigration or more relevent, illegal migration, and the economy will be two very imporant issues. And that will include states’ rights to protect themselves. WW III is not an issue that can be decided by a vote. If a president with congress is going to say they will start it, then that’s a problem. But saying they won’t fight it won’t make much a difference, either. So it’s irrevelent. If we start it or not, it won’t make any difference. If it hits, it’s all over for man. And both sides know it.
So economy and illegl immigration should be there as they are hand in hand along with the crime and illness attached to them. Had measles when you were a kid? Everything else is BS.

No they’re not. No matter how bad the Democrats make the country their base about 30% of the populace will still vote Democrat. 57% of suburban women would vote for Biden according to a poll I saw a week or so ago. A similar fraction of white male college graduates would do the same according to the poll. I know from experience that blacks never vote less than 85% Democrat. So despite reason logic and facts showing that Democrats significantly degrade everyone’s standard of living the Democrat base will ALWAYS vote democrat.
When you have major news outlets, major social media outlets, Hollywood, virtually all TV production, billionaire businessmen/corporations, the military industrial complex, FBI, most government institutions, the education industrial complex, liberal justices and AGs --- all with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, i.e., in keeping the democrat party in power - THEN I would say it's doubtful that the democrat party is not heading toward extinction anytime soon.
More than a Trump win or even a republican majority in the House and Senate, we have the problem of half a nation believing and embracing democrat policies and beliefs, many of which are demonic, misguided, anti-American and anti-Christian.

Well it sure would be good if God got off his rear end and showed up. I’m atheist and figured out long ago that abortion kills a baby for the irresponsible behavior of the woman and the man involved. Sex is about creating a baby, most of the other stuff doesn’t matter. There are multiple ways of birth control, so baring those who have problems with that, not getting pregnant if you are responsible really shouldn’t be an issue. I agree with others if Trump comes out a pro-abortion, he will lose my vote. If a person has no issue with killing a baby, what makes you think they will have an issue killing you?
NOTHING is off their table when it comes to winning.
In a completely fair election with no mail in crap and ballot harvesting, I believe there would be no more than 100 Democrats in the House.

I fear violence is coming this election. If Trump wins—a coup will happen. If Trump wins lots of folks will go to jail and a few to the chair. They must keep him from the White House. I fear they may start WW III to hold power. I hope I am wrong—I pray I am wrong but I believe we are in for a world of hurt before November. The Corruption has replaced democracy.

I agree with you. There is not extinction level event for the Dems, unless we start taking advantage of their failures.
Open border? Fine, the “new comers” are here. What did they come here for? What do they want/need? Handouts? No, looking for a chance at ‘the dream.’ Dems know this. What gets these new comers the dream? Jobs. They want to put them to work in Tyson factories?
Keep talking tough about the border, border closure needs to happen. But ...we also have to deal with the 10 million already here. Printing money and handing it out to them only contributes to our inflationary situation. Mass layoffs are already happening. And who was it that said, they are only doing the jobs Americans won’t do?
Every employer has to fill out an I9, every new hire has to prove their right to work either as a citizen or with proper papers. Have the Dems. circumvented the law here? A few short years ago labor enforcement was raiding factories due to illegals...but these are jobs Americans won’t do?
Tyson laying off Americans and hiring illegals, undocumented and calling them nice names like new comers. Raise the minimum wage high enough and you require a social system. It keeps the undesirable and disagreeable out of the workforce. Every employer doesn’t want the disagreeable working for them. The new comers are the least likely to be disagreeable, they have a different viewpoint than the average young American.
The illegal is willing to work, sacrifice, risk and send money home to family or for their children’s future. They have this incentive and determination inside them that young Americans cannot ever touch.
As republicans how can we resolve this issue between illegals’ and citizens? Deport 10 million? Good luck with that. It makes good campaign fodder.
But there is a serious economic situation happening. And if...if...we are going to need factories etc. built for everything from cars to pharmaceuticals to AI robots where is this New American going to come from? We already have a whole segment of our own population that for decades have been destroyed by democrat policies. Go into any inner city and show me the work ethic of an illegal? It just isn’t there. And that attitude has crept into the middle class youth.
If we need to fully leave China, there is going to be economic boom in this country. But those jobs are going to be either manual labor or super high tech, with very little in between. In order to bring manufacturing back to the United States we are going to need workers who don’t cost $50 per hour. Don’t like the sound of that? Tell me and the nation how we get citizens off their butts and swinging a hammer or plucking a chicken. Heck, we have had decades offering millions grants to get higher education and things have only gotten worse for this class.
The Progressive Left knew this would happen way back in 1938. They knew we would need a social system to deal with the undesirables. The one’s who couldn’t even rise to the level of meeting minimum wage pay. Foreigners in many cases are better than our own. If we want an extinction of a party, we have got to make the case they destroyed the American Dream, but a New Day is coming.
This is very true. The corruption of DC is of epic proportions. Blackmail and skullduggery of every sort is the rule of the day in that town.. It's a giant festering pustule on the backside of the America people, and if not remedied soon it's going to be the death of us all....

That’s ship has sailed. It’s become a dog whistle. We’ll need to stay off this subject for while, get real conservative thinking/acting people back into positions of power, then begin educating and let the people decide to start ignoring the dog whistle. Then, and only then will we be able to have significations reduction in these murders.
