GOP Rep. Ken Buck will retire from Congress next week leaving Republicans with a razor-thin majority.
Following the resignation of Kevin McCarthy, Bill Johnson, Ken Buck and the ousting of George Santos, the Republicans will be left with a razor-thin majority of 218-213.

House Speaker Mike Johnson was shocked by Ken Buck’s surprise announcement.
“I was surprised by Ken’s announcement. I’m looking forward to talking with him about that,” Speaker Johnson told reporters on Tuesday.

Ken Buck has voted with the Dems for the last year, GOOD RIDDENS!! I don’t know what happened to this guy HOWEVER the 3 letter agencies compromised him somehow!!

The PROBLEM is that by leaving next week, the vacancy must be filled.
Bobert is currently CD-3 and to fill the CD-4 vacancy, she must vacate CD-3, which creates another mess to fill that vacancy.
AND voters in CD-4 aint too happy with her carpet bagging over here, so she may lose on both counts!

Florida Rep. Steube was just on Newsmax’s Chris Salcedo show and pointed out how the GOP had better be careful not to bring any votes to the floor if there’s a chance a member may be absent for surgery or illness.
He elaborated that, at this point, the RATS would likely take advantage and call to vacate the chair, installing Jeffries.
Speaker Johnson and Whip Scalise had better be extra vigilant to count heads and secure votes before any vote is taken!!!
Maybe he can be replaced with a good, solid conservative.

Santos was the most conservative vote from all of New York, yet, the House pounded him out.

I prefer term limits that are built into the rules of the office. But it is also OK with me if any veteran politician quits the game. That’s always good. That’s a form of self-limiting their term.
