It has been discovered that Cox, chairman of the New York Republican State Committee, sits on the board of “League of Conservation Voters” (“LCV”) — which controls a network of at least five PACs, all registered as liberal and attached to a broader national network of far left Super PACs, including the “Beat Trump Climate Unity Fund.”
The mission of these PACs is twofold: support Democratic and far-left politicians, such as “Squad” members Rashida Talib and Ayanna Pressley, and even Letitia James, Tom Suozzi, and Kirsten Gillibrand, who received thousands of dollars and were all endorsed by the Cox-backed PAC.
In addition to funding far-left candidates, LCV has supported Never Trump PACs, like the “Beat Trump Climate Unity Fund” in 2020, which had the goal “to raise money for the eventual presidential nominee who will face Trump in the 2020 general election.”
In 2020, the Anti-Trump LCV spent $42 million. It allocated $10 million of that money to oppose President Trump and $7.2 million directly in favor of Joe Biden. In 2020, their PAC network spent $19.7 million on Senate races backing Democrats.
In Kirsten Gillibrand’s last election in 2018, the LCV endorsed and donated $13,000 to Gillibrand’s campaign. LCV has also partnered with Norway and Denmark-owned Orsted and Equinor, two of the companies responsible for pushing offshore wind turbines, which the 45th President has repeatedly lampooned as an “eye sore” and “bird killer.” These organizations, which back the diabolical “Green New Deal,” are proud “corporate partners” of LCV, on whose board Cox serves.

Readers outraged by these revelations are encouraged to call Ed Cox’s Albany headquarters at (518) 462-2601 and DEMAND that he replaces Mike Sapraicone, another RINO who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome, with an unapologetic America First candidate with a well-documented track record of supporting President Trump.
Ed Cox should be thrown out by the county Chairs. But the county chairs are weak given the deterioration of the party in NYS over the past 2 decades.
The County Chairs are in in for patronage jobs for committee members and they have zero interest in building a party or winning elections with conservative candidates.
The NYS GOP has been withering on the vine for 20 years, it will be tough to turn that around.
This is the same doddering old stooge who just declared that he is perfectly happy with last week’s partisan Democrat re-gerrymander in his state and will not challenge it in court.
The defeat of the 4 GOP reps who are likely to be ousted as the result of that gerrymander will contribute heavily to handing over the keys to the House to the Democrats in 2025.
So yeah, no need to challenge anything here. At least not if you’re rooting for the Democrats, particularly if Trump somehow gets elected and has to be legislatively hamstrung.
The 4 GOP freshman backstabbers in NY who lynched George Santos were probably toast even before this new gerrymander. But gee Ed, could you at least TRY to do the right thing?

Where was Cox? He was sitting quietly saying nothing even when Dicker would bring various matters up to him, and if you know anything about Fred Dicker, you know he's an old school print reporter who actually asks questions. (And yes, I'm well aware that he's a Never Trumper. It doesn't change that he did confront Cox on a regular basis.) The only time Cox showed any emotion at all was on the 40th anniversary of his father-in-law's resignation when Dicker brought it up and Cox launched into a big defense of Nixon.
When I saw that Cox got put back in charge of the NY GOP after Lee Zeldin narrowly lost to Cruella de Hochul, I Immediately knew that D'Amato and his merry band of Republicans for Cuomo was still in control and they wanted to ensure that Zeldin and his supporters were stopped before they could get any further momentum.
With Republicans like Cox, who needs Marxists?
