This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

For all the marvelous achievements of the Ukrainian armed forces in the face of overwhelming odds, one piece of ripe Russian fruit is still left hanging. The Crimean Bridge can be taken out with intrepid Ukrainian attacks and swarms of missiles and drones. I do not know of the pressures applied to Ukraine regarding the bridge but now is still a good time to destroy the bridge. Damaging it is not enough. It needs to be a wreck from end to end. Then the remaining ferries and the improvised ferries need regular attacks. Now is the time to change the narrative.

It is hard to understand why Ukraine has not taken out the bridge.

I believe that Biden put the bridge "off limits" fearing escalation.

My guess is that the bridge was discussed in the first meeting between President Trump and President Zenlinsky .

Perhaps President Trump is using the bridge as a "bargaining chip."

Combat brigades run from 3,000 to 5,000 personnel:

1. ~250 Russian total army combat brigades (active + reserves), including
2. 110 Russian brigades in or near Ukraine

3. 110 Ukrainian army brigades
4. +82 NATO-European army brigades (active + reserves)
5. +57 US Army brigade BCTs (active + reserves)

   =249 total NATO plus Ukraine army brigades

As of October 2024, NATO-Euro plans to increase combat brigades from 82 to 131, divisions from 24 to 38 and corps from 6 to 15.
No completion date was put on these changes.

Yes, we can easily debate the relative combat strengths of different countries' combat brigades at any particular point in time, or under different circumstances.
However, the fact remains that ending the Ukraine war will free up around 110 Russian brigades for whatever new adventures Russia's dictator decides on...

The war's end will also reduce Ukraine's army from its current strength of 110 combat brigades back to 2021 levels of 25 brigades.
