I was wondering that myself. Wonder if Biden in his arrogance thought he could pull this off and they couldn’t get him to change his mind.
The end is coming for Biden, the Biden Brand and Hunter Biden. He will go down as the worst US President. A sad end. He will be gone by March—Harris will be an improvement—and that is says something.

I think the only reason they rolled him out there last night is because something was happening yesterday afternoon that was making them desperate to try anything to change the conversation. I think it was because he was rapidly bleeding out support in his own party. As evidenced by this thread…but I think the hemorrhaging was massive.
It’s probably even worse today.
He never campaigned the last time; they didn’t dare let him! Unless they really want to lose, they won’t let him the time, either.
My big fear is that Newsom or Moochelle will get the nomination.

The difference is before everyone could see what Biden is that he has the stage dementia but now we see the real Biden behind the scenes the curtain is off and we all see he’s even worse he was never running the country this was always Obamas 3rd term with him running the country into the ground

I am sure his staff knew it would be a mistake and tried to stop him.
But Biden’s massive ego compelled him to do that god-awful speech in answer to the Hur report.
