Gateway Pundent ^ | George Upper

While supporters of former President Donald Trump may have been getting increasingly excited about the possibility of a certain former Fox News host being chosen as Trump’s running mate, but one man who has been very close to the former president’s political thinking in the past has a message for those folks:

Don’t get your hopes up.

Steve Bannon, who served as both the chief executive of Trump’s 2016 campaign and as a senior adviser to the president after the election told Sean Spicer on Thursday that he expected Trump to choose a woman as his potential vice president.

If this is true, I AM DONE. CHUMP IS AN ABSOLUTE IDIOT. So f-ing stupid. He's a fat stupid egomaniac who thinks with that tiny peepee he hasn't seen in 3 decades with his fat gut. He can't help himself.

And you idiots would STILL give him your money and support and kiss his fat flabby ass and call him a god among men when HE WAS THE LAST CHANCE to save the nation--and HE BLEW IT.

PREPARE FOR YOUR DESTRUCTION.

Stefanik would be good.... but on her merits, not her sex. And it could only help with NY.”

Stefanik rates about a 7 in my book.

NY is probably beyond help [I grew up just south of Stefanik’s district].

The only female I would approve of, right now, is Sarah H. Sanders. There’s several males - I really like Rick Grinnell.

Pence was way too safe a pick, and I was disappointed from the first. If Trump wants to think outside the box he should pick Mayra Flores.

Picking a woman VP doesn’t make any sense in 2024, politically.

After Dobbs, all Republican politicians are targets for pro abortion voters, a woman VP isn’t going to change that or bring in new voters.

If the Trump vs Biden rematch happens, it’ll be an unique election because both men have been President, both would be lame ducks if they win. Which in my opinion makes the VP more important than in the past. The age factor of both candidates is another reason the VP position shouldn’t be handled haphazardly.

To “get a leg up” on 2028, a smart politician will look at VP or a Cabinet position during a 2nd Trump Administration.

Keri Lake i

1) as MAGA as they come
2) will run circles around media whores
3) will kill in a debate
4) she knows what it’s like to have an election stolen from her.

#4 is going to be more important than anyone thinks, because the stolen election is an issue Trump can’t back down from.

If the 2020’ election was stolen as Trump claims, then 2024 is truly a final showdown between good and evil - MAGA vs the Deep State.

If the election was not stolen, then Trump is a sore loser and the Deep State is nothing but a figment of the imaginations of MAGA conspiracy nuts.

2024 has to be a referendum on which side is telling the truth regarding what really happened in 2020 and the Jan 6 fedsurrection.

Trump will not to be able to dodge that issue - he’s going to have to make the case and let the American voters be the judge and jury.

I can’t think of a better running mate to do it with him than Keri Lake.

“If Trump wants to think outside the box he should pick Mayra Flores.”

Mayra Nohemi Flores was born on January 1, 1986, in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to migrant farmworkers. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was six years old and she gained citizenship at 14.

She’s certainly not a natural born citizen.

I would if it was Tulsi Gabbard. And I think I was the third FReeper to support Trump, long before he came down that escalator.

I say Tulsi Gabbard. 😎

Joe Biden won by illegality.

I only believe three states can be justifiably be said to have been stolen: Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin

Offering $10,000 bribes to student loan debtors put Biden into the Oval Office.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders will have served as Governor for a couple of years, so she will have a modest Executive track record to stand on by show time. She did serve admirably as P. Trump’s Press Secretary, so maybe...

The cheating had physical limitations.

5 major cities in key swing states stopped counting votes simultaneously. Van loads of ballots were brought in at the last minute. Those ballots showed voters had only selected Biden, with no down-ballot candidates chosen. Naked fraud.

“Pence” should wear chicken feathers.

He’s a man without courage that knew he would get no judicial support.

The legislatures of Pennsylvania, Michigan and other states knew Biden was a demented fool (and tool) and they should have nominated electors for Trump.

Sigh. There you go ruining a perfectly good denunciation of Pence. As I said, I was against him from the first. However the “traitor” narrative is absolute BS.
And I don’t believe in bearing false witness. Here’s an excerpt from my last post on this topic:

Their inserted editorial comments notwithstanding, this article from Wikipedia outlines the dipsy-do fliperoo that “traitor” Pence would have had to go through. Make more sense to you than the plain meaning of the law, now enacted as revision to the Act, that his job was just ministerial in counting the ballots as submitted? Seem a politically viable way to resolve the election?
