Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!

Dasn’t be skeered, kitteh. Friday’s coming!

We have rain foreguessed for today with slightly reduced highs.

We ordered a new computer for young ArGee because her old (2014 vintage) computer was becoming too unusable. It was supposed to have been delivered Tuesday. It wasn’t and UPS claimed they attempted delivery. Since I was home all day, I know thay hadn’t attempted delivery, at least not to the right address. Anyway, it was rescheduled for yesterday. When young ArGee heard the doorbell she answered it within seconds to see the driver already walking away. He came back and delivered it.

So, I guess UPS drivers know how they can have a package “disappear” without it being proven they took it or something? When he handed it to her, he said something about “new laptop?” so he knew what it was.

As the Wicked Witch of the West once said, “What a world, what a world!”

And what a Wordle!. Actually, it was pretty mundane. Given my usual record when I have so many letters right, it could have been much worse.

Very interesting. What a world.

Good morning. It is not raining here right now.

What a world indeed!

For the first time in what seems like months, I see a 10 day foreguess that doesn’t have any rain on it.... 🀞🏻

Interesting Wordle setup today, took me quite some time from row 2 to 3...

Good morning. Happy Friday!

We had some rain overnight and we still have some foreguessed for this weekend. But highs are in the mid-to-low 70s so it will be nice that way.

I’ll be shutting down my urgent project this Sunday at midnight, so maybe life can get back to normal for me. It would help as I’m also helping with two side gigs and still have young ArGee visiting. I think I’m doing “close to retirement” wrong.

I had a pretty surprising WAG for my 3rd try at Wordle today. Hopefully that’s a good omen.

Good morning.

I literally hit the ground running, yesterday, and didn’t stop until almost time for bed. I lurked a few times, but couldn’t comment, as I couldn’t take the time.

Today will be busy as well, but at least I have breathing room!

On top of everything else, I’m trying to find us a place to move to that doesn’t have a lot of racy comments. I think I’ve found one, but it’s already 100+ posts long, and there are a few posts that can be buried in a while. Anyway, with luck, we’ll be moving today.

I've had days like that. It's even worse when the ground hits back.

If you don’t want racy comments, you probably want me to stay off the thread. 😊

I heard the Belmont has to be run in Saratoga Springs this weekend because Belmont is being renovated.

Oops, was that too racy?

I don’t mind “racy,” Laz, but I try to keep in mind that it’s a family thread, and always has been.

Of course, I don’t know what kids are like these days, so I’m probably not even sure where you fit in that category. πŸ˜‰

I’ll make the move here in a bit, so get packed!

Another week that seems to have just rushed right by... it has been nice seeing the sun shining, now if we could only get that pesky humidity to dip below 50%...
