Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Good morning. Happy Twosday!
We managed through the Memorial Day weekend without any surprises. I was supposed to take the in-laws to their hometown Church on Sunday, but they didn’t get up in time and canceled. So we just had a long, lazy weekend.
Now I have to do 5 days of owrk in a 4 day week. What fun! But it’s good to have owrk.
Not too bad on the Wordle front.

It’s good to have owrk as opposed to the alternative. Good morning. It’s Trash Day here.
Frank appeared, moaned, and disappeared again. I guess I’ll have to go upstairs and sing ...
Awww... sweet!
Good morning. I hope you had a good weekend and that all the chillrun who could, showed up for one of DPs famous BBQs.
There is nothing going on today except folding and putting away the Unmentionables.
I thought I would be going to Smith’s with Carissa, but my phone isn’t putting out the power enough to contact her. Her and Annette. The two people here I care about the most and I can’t get it touch with either of them when I want.
*sheesh*
It’s 66Β°, now and will be 94 Fs this afternoon! Maybe I’ll just sit out in back in the shade for a while.
I’m glad your weekend was quiet. I was imagining all kinds of problems, so I’m glad they were “pipe dreams!”
It’s good to see you back, even if you do have to owrk.
How’s the Princess Dog doing?
I need to do something about this brain fog I keep waking up with. Maybe I need a stronger cup of legal addictive stimulants with my breakfast.
The Princess is doing well. We’ve cut her steroid back to a quarter of a pill per day and we’ve been putting her out less frequently with no interior drippage. Mrs. ArGee is ready to have me stop waking up at 2am to put her out, but that’s moving her nighttime from 4 hours to 8 in one swell foop. We’ll be discussing that today.
“Weβve cut her steroid back to a quarter of a pill per day”
I haven’t been in the loop re your dog, but “steroid” caught my eye in this post. Why is she on steroids, and for how long?
One of our cats has been on Prednisolone for several years, and will be “life long”. It’s the only thing that controls daily vomiting and resultant weight loss. (She was so pitifully skinny that we named her “Maris Crane” after the character in Frasier.)
Vets think it’s an auto-immune issue, most likely. They don’t know why/how steroid works, but it just does.
Will your puppy be on it forever, or temporarily?
Good news on the Princess! Yeah, four to eight hours in one swell foop isn’t my idea of fun. I hope she continues to improve. :o])
That’s the one. She’s on penicillimine until they’re sure her liver is functioning normally again. It’s supposed to chelate the excess copper out of her liver. It seems to have been doing its job.
However, many dogs have problems tolerating the penicillimine so she’s on predisolone to help her keep everything down. We had her on 1/2 pill, but she was doing well so we cut it to 1/4.
We’ve finished yesterday’s and today’s Envirothon review, and now the yutes are nagging me to go to Walmart. Frank’s eating leftover ice cream from his birthday. He has a video to watch for his Driver’s Ed class, so that can be his next thing.
I would think he’d do both at once. Nothing takes the sting out of watching a Driver’s Ed video like eating ice cream while watching.
What we do for our pets ... It’s worth it.
Interesting post this wound up following. π
That is HILARIOUS!!
He’s only allowed to eat in the dining room, but the computer he’s using is upstairs.
Good cat joke!
