It should be a good day. The clean clothes are all dried and in the closet, now, waiting to be worn, so all I have to do is wait for someone for the sanctuary to get the carrier and make the bed. Or not necessarily in that order!
I see Nate-the-Lawn-Guy is at work already. He does pretty good, for a one-man show. I don’t know how many acres this property is, but with 24 apartments and lots of grass, bushes and trees, he does a good job keeping it looking nice.

I spent way too long thinking about what day it is.
We had much rain this morning when walking the Princess. I don’t remember that being foreguessed by Fox Weather.
Yesterday F-I-L wanted to rant about his Church not wanting me to attend because I wasn’t a member. It’s too bad his wife’s delusion is causing him so much upset. But, of course, he won’t recognize it as his wife’s delusion so he’s mad at the people who are complaining.
On the other hand, he’s happiest when he has something to be unhappy about so ...

What an unusual little calico.
Good morning. I hope you slept well last night with no, or few interruptions.
Linda sent me a text just as I was settling in for a good read, and asked me to come and help her, or she could just have Chuck come over. I didn’t tell her Chuck hadn’t even been here all day and I thought that her hand surgery must have really muddled her brain.
So I put on enough clothes to be decent and wandered over, only to find her arm in a sling and her trying to put an ice pack on the sling. She was more of a hindrance than a help but I chalked it up to someone who was still under the influence of whatever drugs they put her under for the surgery.
I stayed long enough to listen to her ramblings, then did what I could to make her comfortable, and came home, leaving her with instructions to text me if she needed help during the night. She didn’t, so I guess her pride got in the way.
Another 47° night with a day reaching only 70F. It will be sunny but right now the wind is at 17 mph out of the NE. Shiver my timbers!
I have to get some brekkity. My stomach is hungry!

I’m tired this morning, but I’ll make it through to naptime.
After what Linda has done for me, the least I could do was try to fix her ice pack! She’s a good-hearted soul, and helps more people than me, so she deserves some “payback” in kindness.
The shower has been had, in almost record time, but I wanted to make sure I could hear a text if Linda needed me. I don’t take my phone into the bathroom with me because it’s kind of hard to answer a text when one is under a stream of hot clean water and one’s head is full of shampoo bubbles!
I’m sorry you’re tired, so I hope you get a nice nap today.

I actually saw the majestic Chip last night, as I was coming out of the bedroom with my dirty dishes. He stopped right where he was and looked at me while I spoke to him, and then regally walked away.
But he didn’t eat. Nothing. I don’t even know if he drank any water.
The carrier was picked up about 1710 last night, with clean blankets and a Thank You note enclosed, so I’m glad that’s taken care of. And I’m still glad I have Chip, The Invisible!
